Back in 1984 everybody cut "Footloose. Just admit it. We all did the dance. We all knew every move. And we all had a crush on Kevin Bacon.
Now, 25 years later, with the news that Zac Efron is slated to star in the 2010 remake (and Bacon considering a cameo), we look back at the original cast members and the blockbuster hits, surprising career twists, as well as tragedy that have followed in their post-'Footloose' careers.

It was a good year, notwithstanding “Footloose.” Other things being equal, our year apparently learned to read during a fortuitous blip of serious phonics instruction and math-facts memorization, and everything went downhill from there. We drove our teachers nuts, but got the Merit Scholarships and won all the prizes.
Wait, it’s a different guy in “Better off Dead”. Sorry.

Actually, I love the Tremors movies.
He’s had 52 roles since “Something Wild” including Speed, Arachnaphobia, Dumb and Dumber, Gods and Generals, Five People You meet in Heaven, Because of Winn-Dixie, RV, Traitor and The Lookout. He has 3 upcoming roles.
To say he isn’t in a lot of movies would be cutting out a lot.
