That explains why I’m the only one in the office who knows I have an assistant, and why he’s not back yet with the coffee I sent him to get.

I don’t hear those ones as often as the ones that tell me that I am a great General and Emperor.
But it’s the whisperer’s that bother me ....

people who drink more than seven cups of instant coffee a day have an increased tendency to hallucinate. . . . People who drink more than seven cups of INSTANT coffee are nuts already!
Me, I only drink real coffee. And I haven't had any yet this morning! Why, I was just talking to my friend Harvey about this--you've met Harvey, haven't you? Big tall rabbit? So I was saying to Harvey, I said, "Hey, we haven't had our usual vat of coffee yet today, big fella. . . ."

I was talking to Eleanor Roosevelt the other day and who should show up but Hillary . . .
She like totally took over the conversation.

Cause or effect?
Schizophrenics drink a lot of coffee and smoke a lot of cigarettes.
A study has already confirmed that the tobacco is a form of self medications. The nicotine helps them manage symptoms. I wouldn’t be supprised if there is a similar effect with caffeine.

High caffeine users may even think they sense non-existent people It's not usually that bad, except when they start to engage you in conversation:
