When 26-year-old Edward Pluhar Jr. decided to walk past the people waiting in line at Walmart's customer service desk over the weekend, he probably didn't expect one of the men he dissed to confront him over it. What he and his father really didn't expect, however, was for the guy to be an off-duty police officer who doesn't appreciate being threatened.
The police officer [Chris Kirby] told Pluhar Jr. he needed to wait his turn, but the Frankfort man purportedly refused.
[His father, 61-year-old Edward R. Pluhar Sr.,] then allegedly approached the off-duty officer, told him to mind his own business and asked whether Kirby wanted to take the dispute outside.
When Kirby asked Pluhar Sr. what his intentions were, the Frankfort man purportedly said he would kick Kirby's posterior and also suggested he might shoot him.
Kirby then informed the father and son that he was a police officer and called emergency dispatchers to send an on-duty officer to the scene.
AHahahahaha! I love it!
WEll, the article title is a bit off. They didn’t go to jail for cutting into line.
Actually, the title is correct. It does not say "for" the use of the comma makes the two incidents separate: "cut in line" , "go to jail". Both are true statements of events that did occur.
I am with you though in not liking misleading or poorly written headlines.
Yeah but it’s ok for cops to push the greeters.
Judging from the photos of Pluhars Jr and Sr, they probably didn’t expect anyone to seriously challenge them. Beefy guys, they are. Good for the officer. Too bad civility has gone out the window.
Headline is deceiving. I thought maybe a white Father and son aged maybe 40 and 10 accidently cut off 2 black women with Obama T-shirts on and got arrested for a hate crime.
BELIGERANT, ARROGANT, BULLYING, SELF-RIGHTEOUS JERKS
finally got called on it.
HALLELUJAH!
Do you have link on that story? Sounds like another ‘shake your head’ in amazement story.
What would have made it perfect if Pluhar Sr. had just blustered, ‘So whatta ya gonna do? Call a cop?”
> Good for Officer Kirby, his good deed for the day!
Agreed. But what a pity it needed an off-duty cop to teach these two scroats manners.
Ha-ha!
Always the Lowest...IQs
Probably talking about this story.

My guess is the cop in this story would never do anything like the cop in that story.
Not the same cop, Cindy. The cop in this story done good.
Anyway, I'm glad the two got busted but regular people should stand up to these line cutters too. I'm not shy about saying "excuse me but I was here first. The end of the line is....."
