Well I thought the end of Stargate Atlantis was good (better than SG1 ending)..
The Plus:
1. Naming a ship after General Hammond
2. For once kicking some major Wraith Butt
3. Good to see Sam
4. The Wormhole drive
5. Woosley actually making some great decisions..
The Minus:
1. Ending was to rushed..
2. Landing near San Fran.. Maybe in the tropics would be better

Battlestar Galactica new season?? when is it on?
To: KevinDavis
I watched the Webisodes — Face of the Enemy — for BSG.
It had one interesting item that might be a spoiler regarding Earth.
The combined 10 websodes are actually about 35 minutes of content. They contain a few items of interest, especially regarding the period of time as captives on New Caprica.
Worth watching on the SciFi website.

“Macroscope” by Piers Anthony is one of my favorite Sci Fi’s.

I quite enjoyed the last 2 episodes of SGA. I'm sad to see her go. We still have a 2 hour movie to look forward to, though.
SGA was light-hearted and fun. I'm not sure I'm ready for the final season of darkness and despair of BSG.

I haven't watched Atlantis at all. Maybe I'll start now that I think I've seen all of SG-1, except the movies.
I watched the season finale of Sanctuary, which at least they telegraphed that it would all be a setup and they were going to steal the stuff once the good guys went to the trouble of getting it.
It seems like they were going for their own League of Extraordinary Gentlement ... except that Amanda Tapping's character is the odd one out in that she's really nobody, and her "power" to live forever was matched by two others, plus a vampire. They even hung a lampshade on this.
Had they started with that stuff sooner, it might've been a little more interesting. But maybe not.

Landing near San Fran..
Was it an homage to Trek? Because that's the first thing that came to mind for me was the Voyage Home.

Still no Heroes?
Atlantis was good, but rushed, and they cut corners by not showing some things like the Wormhole drive etc.
McKay should have popped the question to Jennifer right at the end. And I find it interesting that they kind of left it unclear if Todd was killed or not. Seeing as none of this would have happened except for his stealing ZPM’s, I would hold him guilty of the whole attack. He didn’t start the ball rolling on the ZPM research to go make new friends.
Landing there and making like they did it without anybody seeing anything is too far fetched.

I wonder if the San Franciscans noticed the tsunami that came in under the Golden Gate when a gazillion ton city landed just offshore. It has to displace a crapload of water doesn’t it?
