Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
I am still having hopes that Tony isn’t bad...Voight has been AWESOME..I really like him...he has conservative leanings in real life.....Jack could save his family for the antidote but I am hoping that Kim will come through...I am liking her more this year since she has matured...she looks great!
Well, on 24 anything is possible! But. If the president, Jack and everyone else believes Tony’s bad guy role...who’s running Tony from the inside? Who’ll vouch for him?
Maybe I’m a dufus and have to think about this stuff too hard. But isn’t it now the case that Tony has been working for top dog all along? Hodges was behind every attack so far (Juma was traced back to Hodges. Was Dubaku?)...and those were all rogue attacks not approved by top dog. So where Tony looked like a good guy fending off those attacks...he was really using Jack/FBI to serve top dog’s agenda...isn’t that where things stand right now?
We’ve all wondered who funded the CTU-like setup. Were Chloe and Bill working for top dog, too? Or is Chloe the one running Tony now? But she’s not an “insider”. This is like a Rubic’s Cube!
Anyway, it’s hard to make Tony a good guy after he lifted Jack’s meds and arranged to blow up all those FBI guys.
I know....true....but I just read on Drudge, two FBI guys were caught using surveillance equipment to spy on teenage girls undressing.
And then there was “Deep Throat”...
Also did you catch a character saying “ Someone knew the FBI “sweep” pattern?
Tony saves thousands of lives by blowing up the warheads.....then he he allows the FBI to walk into an ambush.....hmmm.....to protect his cover with the bad guys?...Hard to swallow.....but maybe.
Did you check out Kim’s baby?
I believe he is the little character in the high chair doing the stock trade ads !!!
No, right now the plot line leads us to assume Tony blew up the missiles (and all of Jonas's other attacks)---NOT to "save American lives"---but to stop Jonas from carrying out his rogue agenda.
If you think about all the people Tony killed up til last night, they were all advancing Jonas's agenda. (I think) That still leaves the question of how Tony got hooked up with Bill & Chloe in the first place. Were they all being run by top dog?

Will Jack now confront Chloe?! How was she connected to Tony? Where’d all the money come from to set up their operation? Maybe we’ll finally get some answers.
And Kim WILL NOT get on that plane.

Point well-taken. I will comply with the proscription on vaulting various species of the carcharodon, however it will probably be just as efficacious as the ban on Meghan McCain threads!
