A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

Yes, I didn’t see how a reporter would be discredited for simply sleeping with his source. The wife thing is probably more serious, but the way he so easily came to what he wanted to do suggests he does this a lot, and the wife probably knows.

Someone earlier on this thread speculated Kim coming back and saving her dad.

At the time I wrote it off as a joke but maybe they actually had devine inspiration.

Imagine:

Reporter guy goes snooping around Starkwood hoping to get some “Shock & Awe” footage. Jonas captures him.

He spills his guts, now Jonas knows about Chelsea’s “indiscretion” and revealing classified info. And there’s a phone video to PROVE it. So Jonas palms her cell phone while he’s at the White House. Now he can threaten to reveal her role if Chelsea doesn’t help him. Reporter guy is “disappeared”..

Still can’t figure out how Aaron ends up being the hero in this scenario.
