We've reached the final game of the college football season. I know that we've had some arguments regarding who really should be the national champion (and due to my own bias I've tried to stay away from it). But anyway, somebody decided #'s 1 and 2 for this game a long time ago and here they are.

The BCS National Championship Game: Florida vs. Oklahoma (8:00 pm, FOX) The last two Heisman trophy winners take to the turf for the waterford crystal shaped football from Sears (or at least it used to be from Sears). Leading up to this game, we've heard about who really should be the top ranked team and I'll say this. One, possibly both of these two teams can end any argument tonight. We know the offensive playmakers by now. Tim Tebow. Sam Bradford. Jermaine Gresham. Lewis Murphy. Juaquin Iglesias. But will the defenses even matter tonight?
Here's a link to the Gator Zone. They have a link to their audio feed.

Thanks!
Maybe I missed something but we still have an undefeated team who looked pretty damn good against a high quality team.....
Which “number 3” team you talking about? That one that fought their ass off and got lucky to beat Ohio State? Or maybe Texas Tech and Oklahoma State who showed so well in their bowls too. Big 12 is an overrated joke. Oregon physically dominated Oklahoma State, who had everything go their way in the first half and couldn’t even stay on the field with them in the 2nd.
Thanks!!
Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words.
Ohh wahhhhh. The Pac 10 regular season still SUCKED. You cannot deny that. Only 5 bowl eligible teams, 2 of the worst team in the entire nation in WSU and Washington, 2-6 versus the MWC, losses to the WAC. Say what you will about the post season when any team with talent can prepare and look good, the regular season showed that the Pac 10 was a subpar conference. Anybody with a brain could see that.
Thank you :)
Agreed. Florida might be able to hang with them, but anyone else would meet the same fate as Penn State. That is one dominant team, and when they're motivated it's just about impossible to stop them.
Good play by the S on the interception.
Lion, you guys would beat either of these two teams playing tonight. And frankly, with Oklahoma coming off 4 straight BCS losses, I can’t believe they got the nod over any of the one loss teams, or Utah.
Agreed on OU. I wonder whether UF might have a little too much speed for Penn State though. I said all year PSU could win a national championship so long as it went undefeated and was lucky enough to avoid USC or Florida.
Speed didn’t beat Penn State in the Rose Bowl, they kept up just fine with USC. Sanchez just had a brilliant day throwing, and USC has the best D in the country this year. Tough combo to beat, especially on that day.
End of 1st Quarter
UF 0
OU 0
The refs are having clock troubles. Real weird. Both coaches are yelling at the refs big time.
Yeah, the MWC was a real down conference this year, just ask Alabama. You have nothing more than surface knowledge on any of this stuff, just the typical uninformed knee jerk assumptions that you carry from year to year. And evidence contrary to your faulty positions mean nothing to you.
By the way, that was a scintillating first quarter by these two powerhouses, great stuff.
UF touchdown.
Tim Tebow to Louis Murphy.
oh yeah!!
