In between chores, I’m now watching I Was a Male War Bride on FMC starring Cary Grant and Ann Sheridan.

Our Christmas decorations are down except for our nativity scene. That comes down tomorrow.

My husband must have been deprived as a child, our decorations go up on Friday after Thanksgiving and come down today!

Since he’s in AZ, I did take down the garland on the stair cases, village, angels, all kinds of nic-nacs that are Christmas time decorations already. All we have left is the tree.

Outside we still have lights up - but we’ve been too busy to take the time to bring them in. Suppose to be 70 and sunny tomorrow so hopefully D and I can get them down and stored away. It’s 40 and rainy here right now.

Oh my! I’m watching Glenn Beck via insider. He now has a mustache and chin beard.

Good morning Mozie and Everyone!

Yes, he is tiny. We're still praying he comes through everything ok. He was born December 20, 2008. My step-mother fell just about then and Christmas was chaotic this year. Sunday Mr HOB and I celebrated with his family and this Sunday little Camden's mom and dad will celebrate Christmas with their immediate families. There's been no time. Next year I 'll be comparing notes with Toby on the children and how excited they were! :)

Mozie, forgot to tell you how proud we are of EV. He’s with us in prayer always. And thanks for the compliment on the names.

Just what are you guys talking about? Am I missing something here? The forum seems to be normal to me - the ebb and flow of busy lives, etc. I know Jim has stated he was leaving and I miss him too, but have others gone by the wayside? Not everyone converses with me, so I don’t know what’s happened. But that’s the normal way of a forum.

Is it Epihany? i keep thinking it’s 16 days after Christmas which would put it at January 10th. Guess I am just hoping for 16 days - my girlfriend is finally coing to visit and I’ve left all of the Christmas stuff up just for her to see. We planned to clean up on Sunday afternoon after she and her new husband leave. LOL!!

An easy way to remember the date of the Epiphany is to recall The Twelve Days of Christmas . On the 12th day is the Epiphany.

Of course you are correct! I am just wishful thinking trying to justify still having everything in place.

It’s the same here, 40 and raining. Tomorrow or Thursday I’ll take down the trees.

My husband would leave the tree up until Spring if I let him. And proudly have the lights on every night! To each their own.

;)

It is dreary out and chilly. Feels nice for a change, it had been so muggy down here. 70 and sunny for tomorrow.

Too funny.

We were talking about our absent members. That’s all. You are right, however, there is an ebb and flow to the thread. Sometimes we must pay attention to life.

I just got done watching President Bush’s military farewell ceremony.

At least the military knows how to say thank you.

Well, I am off to call the RNC and rant about their behavior, and get my name removed from their mailing list.

Everyone have a nice day!

I may not have agreed with all President Bush did while being our President, but I will say NO ONE respected the office he held, the nation and the military more than he did. God bless him.
