Too bad Ponce de Leon didn't live in 21st century New York City. He may not have found the Fountain of Youth, but he would have at least gotten a book deal.

It seems that every time a Baby Boomer finds a gray hair, another tome is written promising to teach people how to stave off the effects of aging. This year, dozens of self-help titles are set to hit the shelves, all offering tips to extending youth.

“It’s amazing what avoiding real work can do for longevity.”

No kidding and to those who say they will sleep when they’re die, I say screw that I am going to bed and hoping to sleep for 10-12 hours. I love my dreams and beauty sleep to much.

My hypothesis: Baby boomers don’t want to die because they’re afraid of what comes afterward, and that they’ve been wrong all along about the existence of God.

Just my thoughts.

As I remember something I heard someone teach, for the Christian, this current world is the closest to hell we will ever be. To the non-Christian, it’s the closest to heaven they will ever be.

Thank God we have something better coming after this.

It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the reason.

They’ve worshiped themselves so much that they’ve sacrificed everything and everyone to make sure that this place is heaven for them.

40 million and counting, plus all the self centered living they’ve indulged in. All the hedonism and now the rules and regulations and sabotage. After all of it I’m sure many of them are afraid of facing judgement and having to account for their actions and selfishness.
