Pondering

I’m pondering a sunset,
A cold drink in my hand,
Somehow the beauty doubles up,
On sea instead of land.

A very close-held comfort,
A very distant fire.
If I had something wise to say,
Is something to inspire.

Instead my mind’s a muddle,
My thinking has gone thunk,
Perhaps I’ll wake and stir myself,
After the sun has sunk.

Vaguely. It is really.........orange, isn't it? I'm not sure I even remember making this.

Mornin', Amy. There is ice in my fountain this morning. Too cold for me. :-(

Swampsniper does beautiful work!

We do mostly flowers, veggies, herbs, and hanging baskets.
A greenhouse is like a baby—you have to keep an eye on it all the time, and it always needs something done to it! LOL

I thought so, too, G.G. There is something inherently funny about love shared between dog and cat.

Hope you are having a good day - I tried to buy some Daisy seed yesterday at Wal-Mart - no seeds available yet. Their entire garden section was full of Christmas left-overs at 50% off. I was surprised - if they want to get rid of it, mark it down to 90% off; then it might sell.
