Thank you, Meg. I always loved that song - but not what happened to the man who made it so famous.
This voice is so pure - do you know who is singing it?

This voice is so pure - do you know who is singing it? I do - I have one on my pc by her - Enya Angelis - think she just goes by "Enya". Give me a few minutes and I'll upload the beautiful song I have.

I thought of Enya - but wasn’t sure. I love her voice. I also thought it might be Sara McLaughlin.
Thanks, Billie!

Her voice is like crystal, isn't it? I love Sarah McLachlan's voice, but Enya's is even more pure and clear, to me. :)
I'm uploading the song I have - it will take a while - both uploading and downloading mp3's is very slow on dialup.

I just had a very hungry Red Bellied woodpecker using the tube
feeder ..with cardinals vying for position..What a beautiful
sight...no snow in my "picture", however.

I have to consider the larger red-bellied woodpecker when purchasing squirrel-proof feeders. He's an impressive bird but very skittish.

I have a tube feeder cage sitting in the garage...The cardinals don’t like it..so I will continue to bang on the glass or run out yelling at the squirrels when they juump up on the feeder to gorge themselves..They can’t get to it from the tree..I have a “bell” over it. I can’t hang it any higher or I cannot reach it..
The woodpecker’s long stay at the feeder is a rare sight for me.
They are beautiful birds ..love your picture.

My feeders are on ropes & pulleys, very convenient particularly because this is s front to back split with high living space.

This is so cute, (((Meg))), thank you. Haha.
Well, I wanted to post pics of floats, etc., but couldn’t find many good ones then accidentally shut off the computer and lost what little I had.
I really, really love the parade. I think I’ve watched every year since forever. I think I’m including all parade fans in the ping, not sure.
This year, I was especially struck by the float that depicted a photo of Helen Keller and her teacher. I also loved the USO float with the big US flag; thanks for that screen capture, WCG.
I love the bands, and they were so good this year, including a first time entry in kilts with bagpipes and all. I didn’t write down the name and of course forgot.
I always look forward to the U.S. Marines mounted color guard to start the parade and the Marines Band, as well as the stealth bomber flyover.

I am so glad to see the graphics that you share here. I don't share graphics, I keep them to myself. Hehehe.
One of these days, though, I will try to share. Have a great Sunday and a wonderful week, Amy:)
