And here I am on Sunday's opening, and look atchu, Meggsy! Your "red rock" background - can I just point out how clever you are to make a background pefectly match - and I mean PERFECTLY! :) See, that's 'one' advantage, if there could actually be one, of having a slow internet connection - many times I see all the individual backgrounds as they are opening - from first to last - bottom to top or whatever. :)

I just wanted everyone to know what an "attention to detail" person you are. I love it! :)

I have had a wonderful visit with my DIL and son...
I'm going backwards here to catch up..
They did not even get a glimpe of my 2 new kitties...They hid..
My elder cat sat right with us and snoozed..
My kittens are so big now....but shy with strangers.

Meg, what a beautiful Sunday thread you presented for us today. I am so sorry I missed being here. This has been a bad week and I had to go to a funeral today. After the funeral I put my comfy clothes back on, had lunch and a nice long nap. My street was a sheet of ice early in the day and I wasn't sure I could go. But it thawed later in the day and I could make it okay. Your opening was beautiful and I loved your colorful pansies..so gorgeous.

Yes, Billie, he did get the memory installed. Took no time at all. The computer is fast a lightning but still has some 'bumps' in it. He worked for a couple of hours trying to get all straightened out. He was supposed to be at work and he and I both were a little 'testy'. Don't get me wrong, we did not argue. Computers can drive people crazy.

I do not like to complain because I am so thankful for every day but last week was a disappointing week. I had a bit of eye trouble for two days. Felt like a rock in my eye. Hurt really bad. I found some medicine I had purchased for pink eye symptoms months ago and I used it and the next day the eye was better. I will not mention the "other things" LOL! )Well, I did have to attend a funeral today.

So I will not be able to do the holidays this week and maybe the week after. Hate to ever turn you down because you're just too nice. Thanks, Billie

Wonderful hearing about the visit with your son and DIL. I know you enjoyed that so much. There is nothing better than being with family. Hope you all went out to dinner so you didn’t have to cook.

Haven’t gotten to the cake yet. Maybe one day this week. I will probably gain 5 lbs. if I make it....LOL! Oh well, live a little I say. The purple pansy is just so cheerful. Thank you but you didn’t have to do that but I’m glad you did. LOL (((Hugs)))

I know I will gain 5 pounds if I make a cake..because I eat it for breakfast ..LOL ..I did love my visit..and they brought dinner from Cracker Barrel..I like it that way.. mimimum cleanup..and I have a better view than the restaurant.

It’s a given I will eat it for lunch and dinner..and don’t forget the mid afternoon “pick me up”..and the midnight snack.
I say 5 lbs even with all that..LOL
