I thought the same thing, Dita....looked like the fire was touching him.....ouch!
That is a perfect description. Just for that I am frying a little country ham for biscuits.....I’m hungry! Way past lunch....this will be my lunch/dinner!
Love that graphic, yorkie!
I think Taylor was trying out several different genres on those early works - "West Texas Sky" sounds a little "Mariache-like" - "My Friend" sorta boogie woogie, and of course there's the sweet slow soul music that really defines him. My very least favorite song on that entire album is the way he sings "Georgia" - don't like it! I love the song, but don't love all the 'stuff' he adds to it. I skip that one after the first 30 seconds every time. :)
I don't always listen to words of a song - if the beat's good, I don't care! I didn't know Enrique's was about a vampire! lOL
Dita, I think the hummingbirds love you. They seem to come no matter where you go! I wish we could have the hummingbird babies one more time! That was so exciting.
I was going to send a link to a youtube video of “Tired of Being Sorry”, thinking that maybe you could hear that on your computer, but the video is so sleazy and cheesy and over-the-top suggestive that I am not linking to it. If you want to search youtube for the video, it is easy to find. :-)
And did you all know I got 666 the other day and didn’t know it until afterwards.....whew~~~
We're just doing winter postcards here.
If you saw yorkie’s post, that sure was me! Son called a little while and wanted me to go to a site to check my speed from me and my provider. He’s at work and worrying about me. What else could a Mom ask for? (except for her computer to be perfect?) LOL~~~
Want some? They're buttery...
I may just do that, Lori! Thanks...now back to my country ham!
This song is about a guy remembering how he got in a fight with his girlfriend, went out on the street and ended up following a beautiful woman (who happens to be a vampire) into an alley and getting "turned". And how sorry he is.....yadda, yadda. LOL.
Like you, it's more the beat of a song that I like, rather than the words.
Gorgeous!
Yes, what would we do without our sons to keep our computers up and running? We are so fortunate. My poor brother has no one to help him with his computer problems and he is about the most technologically impaired person I have ever met. He can rebuild a automatic transmission from the bottom up, but he cannot figure out this computer technology. I’d be just like him if I didn’t have my son to help me out.
Don’t you love it! With seasons, we practically live in four different venues a year without the moving vans!
Warm and sunny? Up here, we got sunny, we got no "warm". Send some.
Don’t know what the prognosis is. She was asleep when I called. I talked to one of her daughters. She has an appt with the Onocologist this afternoon.
She is getting chemo and they are planning surgery later. Trying to shrink the cancer before surgery.
I told her daughter to let her know that I called and would call again tomorrow.
My son just called back and wanted me to check my C drive and told me how to do it..LOL...he said it told him I had half of my hard drive free. I had asked him earlier if that could be my problem as he had to put a new hard drive in for the other son. The other son had 4 people using his computer at the time. He and his wife, plus the two girls.
Like I said he’s at work and thinking about my computer. Sure am glad he has the job he does.
Will eat ham now.....if you could smell it, you’d kill for it. (got a little red-eye gravy too) shoooo, don’t tell anyone!
Well, I sure do hope and pray for the best.
Now I have to go and get something done before the day is over!
