The New Year week is here. Wishing you all the best.
A quick Monday morning start for the week.
Good morning.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, 2/3!!!!!!
Good morning.
Good Morning Everyone!
Happy Birthday, 2/3
I did my part this morning..cornbread, melted butter and coffee...yummy!
I’m going low carb when I stop dripping into the stomach and having it upset. I, too, hate to waste food, so that means that next year I will be doing something vastly different. It may be the last year for linzertorte and gingerbread men. I don’t think I’ll be putting out as much stuff to “graze” upon. Just waaaay to much gets wasted.
I'm on one of my backup computers because my primary computer that I built 14 months ago has decided, on my birthday of all days for crying out loud, to have its first major problem with what I suspect is a cantankerous video card. Will be making a trip later to my computer store to buy one for my BD present.
Thanks again for making my day! :))
I’m down to making one kind of cookie at Christmas time, the family’s favorite.
Daughter, who weighs 113 lbs and normally is into healthy eating, took said cookies home that were left at son’s and ate them all!
Don’t think son has figured that out yet.
Sorry to hear about your computer.
Sarah's LCD monitor died when our we lost power Christmas morning.
She bought a new one with $$ gifts. I would like to try to repair her old one for me.
New Year....new thinking re: meals.
well folks, this has been fun, but I’m heading back to bed. I can be horizontal for only so long and then things get clogged. So, I become vertical and let gravity work.
Oy vay. I’d rather have malaria.
I think computers plan this. It is part of a conspiracy. They hunt out the days when we are most vulnerable and then, CRASH! Ooopsie. Time for a carbonite account. Er, make that PAST TIME ....
About a month ago the door of my wireless mouse became lost and so I’ve duct taped it close. That is the only thing wrong with it. It is really a cool device with some nice side buttons.
But hubby felt I wanted and needed one with a back door. Only the one he got me isn’t nearly as nice as the first one. I want to take it back but I don’t want to hurt his feelings. I really do NOT want the new one. I really do NOT want to reject his gift.
So far, I’ve done nothing. The new is still in the packaging.
Really, I’m going to bed now.
Glad I have three, count 'em, three backup computers, all which I built. Two desktops and a laptop. I can't seem to have too many computers, lol! I assembled the laptop from a kit, but otherwise I don't touch laptops. Do you have a place that can repair her old one? If the monitor is the culprit, you can plug the laptop into a regular monitor as a work-around, if you haven't done that already. Glad she got the $$ gifts and was able to buy the new one.
I bought and assembled a beautiful, very sturdy (the legs are 3X3 inch timbers), finished, wood desk for my primary computer to sit on. It had been on the floor since I finished building it. Now it's up on the desk and very easy to work on, so that was pretty good timing.
Sleep well and get well. It would make my BD even better if you reported that you were feeling much better.
JP
And that (post #17) goes for you, too, my little Agri-girl. :))
Happy Birthday Kurt!
