The New Year week is here. Wishing you all the best.
A quick Monday morning start for the week.
Wise decision on their part!!
Glad to hear you’re on the mend. Take care!!
Me too.
That’s super.
No, what I wanted was the insulated pot that holds the already brewed coffee and dispenses it from a press on the lever.
That way the coffee doesn’t sit on the burner and get icky.
I am trying to wrap up end of the year bookeeping and will have to make new files for 2009. Must check file inventory...
Mr. Prairie has his new smoker fired up and is putting a pork shoulder roast on. Guess all I will need to worry about for dinner is some corn or potatoes.
A belated happy birthday to Mr. J.
Just saw an ad on TV for a product that controls coughing for twelve hours.
It starts with a “D”...??....Don’t remember the name.....think the box was orange.
Happy Birthday to Mr. Jemian!
Make sure that vacation is a l-o-n-g one! We live just straight west of Toby!!
12 hours? With a “D”? Hmmmm.
Dextromethorophan? I don’t know if that is a real med or not, maybe I just made it up, but the name sounds cool.
LOL!
(Product’s name was shorter......)
You are describing how I started feeling Sunday evening. I have a dry cough/tickle that when I get started coughing I can’t stop. Then my head throbs. Today I have a stuffed up nose and dry throat along with a tight chest. I think it’s allergies for me. It got so hot in the house when company was here we had all the windows opened so pollen could freely enter. :(
I’ll pass on to hubby your good wishes. He just threatened me again. But the temp going down and a few other symptoms moving in the right direction convinced him to let me stay here. For now.
I’m on borrowed time.
I normally sleep with the windows open. The cool temp helps me sleep, Also, I figure that germs can’t live too well above freezing. (Hubby says he can’t, either. Then, I call him a germ. You know how it goes) But last night the windows were closed.
I’ve been using Afrin since this started. Big sigh. I now have to wean myself off that. That is hard because I really hate a stuffy nose.
I hate colds.
I’d rather have malaria.
Shoot me now!
LOL
Well if you prefer malaria to what you have, you must be feeling really bad!!!
Did you get your flight plans worked out?
My parish church sounds like a TB ward during Sunday Mass.
I have had a particular nasty nose/throat/ears thing going on for some time. Every time I get feeling better I get a relapse.
Finally yesterday I went to the local health store and the guy recommended gargling with Sovereign Silver (bio-active silver hydrosol)which is a immune support supplement.
I have been using it for a day and a half and already have noticed a difference (no more ear aches or sore throat)
Not yet. The airline said a two-day notice is good enough. I’ll deal with it on the fourth and will probably fly out around 16th.
This was a gift on Christmas Day from LionsDaughter. She had been sounding like a TB ward all by herself. But a cough was all she had.
I kept challenging her to try the VapoRub on her feet but she refused.
Sovereign Silver? I may send hubby down to the local health store. Anything to get better soon.
Ha!
Home smokers...Best invention to man..
Less cooking for us. LOL
That is the brand name I am using, the actual name is silver hydrosol.
The guy told me that it is a very affective way to defend against emerging strains of bacterial, viral and fungal infections.
BTW make sure your husband checks to see if you can mix it with other meds.
