Getting donations back from the McCain campaign

Posted on 12/19/2008 2:33:37 PM PST by o2bfree

Anybody know if its still possible to get a donation back from the McCain campaign? I made a $200 donation on Oct. 30th and want a refund.

The reasons are obvious!

If you know who I should contact to make this happen let me know. If you think its impossible let me know. Or if there is another thread on this, let me know that too. If you think I was crazy to make this donation in the first place, I would concur with your assessment!

I fantasized that it was Palin even though it was McCain-Palin.

“This_far. Go screw yourself.”

Snappy and whitty comeback there 02b. Reminds me of this:
How do you make a whore moan... don’t pay her.

“If you think I was crazy to make this donation in the first place, I would concur with your assessment!”

OK, your quote: you was crazy.

Apparently many were. McCain wasn’t the first or best choice of many. (read back on just this forum)

Take if off of your taxes like I will. (and for many others that didn’t make the cut)

Sounds oddly like lust but I meant I fantasized it was a Pailin-McCain ticket... really!

I’d like to be pinged but can someone tell me something: What’s the deal with McCain and strawberries? Everytime I see pictures there are strawberries in his hand or nearby.

Mr. K (not all directed to you, btw)

Perhaps I was abrupt? Or was I just being the way that all wanted McCain to speak out about on O?

Too brusque, don’t think so. I apologize to those who do. However, we should act the same way that we want those that we want to elect to act. Get tough when you have to.

McCain didn’t. Other reasons perhaps, whatever. Get over it.

There’s no do-overs and no refunds.

I’m not pleased about the outcome either.
However, why bother to donate, if afterwards, you want a refund should your candidate lose?

Personally, his campaign makes me want to sue to malpractice.

I'll add you to the list after I get back home this evening.

As for McCain and strawberries: watch the movie The Caine Mutiny. The similarity between Captain Queeg and John McCain is...uncanny.

If a comedian performed voice impressions, McCain would sound like Beavis from Beavis and Butt-head.

And Obama has that distinctive whistle when he says his "S" words which harkens back to Gopher from Winnie The Pooh,

or more recently Herbert the Pervert from Family Guy

On a similar note- where can I make contributions to PALIN 2012 campaign?

If there is no organization set up yet for that, I will start one- who’s with me?***

You can make the donations at this website
