FYI- ARTICLE SAYS SHE'S ON GRETA TONIGHT---
Sarah Palin, Republican governor of Alaska, says she has wondered how long Rod Blagojevich, Democratic governor of Illinois, thought he might "get away with'' an alleged scheme to sell the Senate seat of President-elect Barack Obama of Illinois.
"Now is the time, not just for governors, but, for all elected officials to try and start shoring up some trust with the electorate,'' Palin, the Republican Party's losing vice presidential nominee this year, says in an interview airing this evening on FOX News Channel's On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.
"You cannot be in this business to get rich...can't be in this business with anything but a servant's heart,'' Palin tells Van Susteren in the matter of Blagojevich. "I'm wondering how long the guy thought he was gonna get away with it."
Palin also says she has apologized to the pastor of her church in Wasilla, Ala., which burned down - if the "suspicious'' incident had anything to do with controversy that she stirred with her campaign. The church had fielded threats in the past, she says.
"I'll leave it to the pastor to speak to,'' Palin says in the FOX interview. "I apologized to the assistant pastor letting him know that if there's anything that I've done to draw negative attention to the church.''
This was a dangerous fire, she notes.
"There was a group of women... There were children in the church,'' she says. "They were the ones who first discerned that there was an obvious problem with the fire alarms going off and looking down the hall and seeing fire... It became pretty obvious near the very beginning of this whole episode that this was suspicious

O’Reilly is a prick for letting Carl Cameron peddle those rumors about her on his show.
Carl Cameron still has a job? I thought I saw him standing on the street corner with a sign saying “Will make up lies for food”
When was the last time any politician ever uttered this profound statement: “You cannot be in this business (politics) to get rich...” Try never!
How dare Sarah speak out and offend Colin Powell.
And that my friend is the EXACT reason why Liberals hate her. They would be thrilled to pieces if she were corrupt, they can’t stand that she is not, that she actually gives a damn about people, yeah people, ya know, the ones that hired her to do a job. They can’t stand it.
Guess who uttered this profound statement: “During times of universal DECEIT, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” (the man who wrote of increased government regulation, control and suppression in 1984 George Orwell)You wonder why Sarah is hated by the left; they don’t want the truth to get out.
There was no way Gov Palin could overcome McCain. Perhaps the worst campaign ever run. Dole w/o the youth and vigor.
Pray for W and Our Troops
It looked like a thrown election from the get go to me, no one w/lick of sense would have put McCain up against a smarmy Chicago used carsalesman.
Sarah Palin—the real thing.
John McCain—arrogant, condescending liberal.
Those mutts never apologized.
I’m still pissed about it.
Also that she has a true servant's heart, as she often calls for in elected officials. It's becoming more apparent daily that McCain doesn't. Her rhetoric gets on his nerves because it hits home.
LOL! Exactly. How did that idiot think he would get away with it? Was it just me or did it sound like Palin was trying not to laugh when she said that?
Wow. She is an amazing politician. A straight shooter. She speaks her mind. Thats why liberals and the RINOs are afraid of her. The more people throw mud on her, the more she turns them into roses. She gets better and better each day with interviews. No more Couric moments. In a few more years, she will be more polished. Her presidential debates with Obama will be more fun and The Big O should be scared.
McCain showed his true colors - a Democrat posing as a RINO.
