FYI- ARTICLE SAYS SHE'S ON GRETA TONIGHT---
Sarah Palin, Republican governor of Alaska, says she has wondered how long Rod Blagojevich, Democratic governor of Illinois, thought he might "get away with'' an alleged scheme to sell the Senate seat of President-elect Barack Obama of Illinois.
"Now is the time, not just for governors, but, for all elected officials to try and start shoring up some trust with the electorate,'' Palin, the Republican Party's losing vice presidential nominee this year, says in an interview airing this evening on FOX News Channel's On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.
"You cannot be in this business to get rich...can't be in this business with anything but a servant's heart,'' Palin tells Van Susteren in the matter of Blagojevich. "I'm wondering how long the guy thought he was gonna get away with it."
Palin also says she has apologized to the pastor of her church in Wasilla, Ala., which burned down - if the "suspicious'' incident had anything to do with controversy that she stirred with her campaign. The church had fielded threats in the past, she says.
"I'll leave it to the pastor to speak to,'' Palin says in the FOX interview. "I apologized to the assistant pastor letting him know that if there's anything that I've done to draw negative attention to the church.''
This was a dangerous fire, she notes.
"There was a group of women... There were children in the church,'' she says. "They were the ones who first discerned that there was an obvious problem with the fire alarms going off and looking down the hall and seeing fire... It became pretty obvious near the very beginning of this whole episode that this was suspicious

If she stays on just that message, I think it's a winner for her in 2012- there's a re-aligning majority out there - conservative/libertarian/patriot, imo.
I will be watching Greta tonight!
That is what got on McCain’s nerves, that she was about CONSERVATISM and he is a LIBERAL. Sarah is a TRUE Conservative, God Bless this woman. I am actually thrilled that McCain did not endorse her in 2012, thank God, who needs that RINO garbage in Sarah’s corner, Sarah can win all by herself. She is AWESOME!!
CLP PARTY = conservative/libertarian/patriot
Theme clip the wings of the Demos & the Rinos...vote CLP
BOR must be steaming. Greta got the post election interview, and this, and a few during the campaign. And BOR made out like Sgt Schultz and got nothing.
Only on ‘On the Record’: Gov. Sarah Palin talks to Greta about the suspicious fire that damaged her church in Wasilla, Alaska. Don’t miss the interview tonight at 10 ET!

Anyone else reminded of Odinga?

Point, I'm not trying to call attention to myself here--but I just really believe she can get this new "republican" realligning majority. I wrote about it on my blog- the "Palin Majority"--But, she starts with the 35-40% conservative base- but she MUST NOT appeal to them on "social issues". We know where she stands of those.
Instead, she starts a new majority by bringing into the base libertarians, Perotista's, Pauls, Barrs- on the sole issue of anti-Washington reform. The anti Blago's, C. Kennedy's-Powells-McCains--etc--- It's a natural and enduring patriotic majoirty, so long as it stands solely for small government- defuse Washington- and social issues back to the states.
Good for Palin....
BOR tried to play games with her.....”reporting” lies and then saying she should come on the show and defend herself
what a SKUNK!
In the future, note the Announcements sidebar is reserved for FR business - not this.
Noted. I thought it meant “general announcement” announcements. -—Thanks.
Please Freep the message board under the article . Some asshole already attacked Sarah there. Sheesh!
Sarah is flushing out all of the fakers, liars and RINO’s. Flush all where they belong.
Welcome :-)
Sarah has timing! She’s knows when to strike and how to strike! Thank God she is away from McCain and can get out there on her own!
She’s awesome! A real voice!
“Shes awesome! A real voice!”
Just like with President Bush, when I read a transcript like this I can hear their voice. To me I think that speaks to the fact that what they are saying is also what they believe. That - and the commonsensical way in which they say things. Although I don’t agree with everything President Bush says or does (just like I probably won’t when Sarah is President) - they seem to speak from the heart.

Apparently smart, too. Looks like she is teaming up, and rewarding, the one trusted media personality that will allow her to get her message out- without bias.
Just like with President Bush,

I think there’s one major distinction. I think Pres. Bush genuinely wanted to be a “regular guy”- but he’s just not.
Gov. Palin is a “regular guy”- she’s actually lived that life.
Greta does not have the record of a conservative Republican. She does have the record of a lawyer who appreciates procedure and rules of evidence.
