Good point, however it still was considered the “House that Ruth” built since it was on the same spot and not totally demolished for renovations.

I cannot think of a single thing that was retained except for the location of home plate. I was at the "old ballpark" (a little Red Barber lingo there) a reasonable number of times; and I worked on a small part of the "renovation" so I was there a lot more than I wanted to be. After a while they'll call the new place "the house that Ruth built" too. And the stupid fans will eat it up and talk about all the great tradition.
