Yeah yeah. I’d rather shoot rapists than ducks. :)

We get Amish baked goods and meats out here as well. Would much rather pay the slight premium for homemade, no chemical foods than the other crap.
I don’t eat meat anymore, but we have local farmers here whose wives work at the university, and you can get locally grown and butchered meat by putting in an order with the wife.

This is like OPEC reducing output. That would be Chicken-pec. They would be choking off their chickens?..........

You can have mine, thanks.
I tried it, once, and discovered that when you get past the smell, the flavor is actually worse.

A plate of vegetarian beans or a nice salad and some delicious fruit tastes better to me than greasy meat filled with hormones. My blood pressure has dropped back to normal levels since I went vegetarian and it only took about two weeks. I go easy on bread too. So much of it today is made from insoluable fiber instead of soluable, and acts like tiny slivers of glass going through your intestines. No wonder colon cancer is so prevalent today.

Do you still think they don't have hatcheries?

$0.98/lb at Meijer this week. I was going to fill one quarter of the deep freezer. Maybe I’ll go half.

Was the exemption granted?

I don't know. My friend just told me about the eggs, and not much else. I just hate to see life destroyed, before birth. I guess those destroyed eggs could be used in dog food.
