I hadn’t heard about mudslides in Montecito. yikes.

Cajon Pass — KTTV showed 6-8 inches that had fallen on their mobile truck inside two hours’ time

Same thing here in Fountain Valley. Too bad the convertible top has to stay up for the next few days.

And yes, all the best wishes for those in the burn areas.

I remember a customer calling me and asking me where “Yucca-pa” was, as he needed to dispatch a truck to pick up some eggs from “Yucca-pa Egg Ranch”.....it took a sec, but I got his gist.

That’ll ruin your day.

The CHP site is really bogged.

Our rain appears to have ended but you guys are going to be dealing with it for a lot longer.

We used to have a site that got posted that tracked current rainfall amounts, do you recall what it was? We’ve had heavy, heavy rain for over 90 minutes now in San Diego and we’re all curious how much we’ve gotten. It’s been non-stop...we rarely get rain this heavy for this long in our particular area!

Where were the pics, San Bernardinos?

We got 0.33” out here near Edwards AFB. The radar showed wintry mix/snow near Mohave for quite awhile.

Drawing a blank,...but I found this for the Bay area:

HYDROLOGY-METEOROLOGY DATA REPORT PART 5

and it says.....

THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS PROVISIONAL DATA FROM AUTOMATED GAUGES : THIS DATA HAS NOT BEEN SCREENED OR VERIFIED FOR ACCURACY

******************************

So maybe the San Diego NWS has automated rain gauges?
