McCain scolds GOP for whacking Obama
Politico ^ | 12/14/08 | Mike Allen

In a surprising rebuke to the warriors who fought for him through tough times, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday sided with President-elect Barack Obama and scolded the Republican National Committee for fanning the Illinois corruption scandal.

On ABC’s “This Week,” host George Stephanopoulos asked: “The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Mike Duncan, has been highly critical of the way President- elect Obama has dealt with this.

"He's had a statement every single day, saying that the Obama team should reveal all contacts they've had with Governor [Rod] Blagojevich. He says that Obama's promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested. Do you agree with that?” See Also

McCain replied: “I think that the Obama campaign should and will give all information necessary. You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody — right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary. And so, I don't know all the details of the relationship between President-elect Obama's campaign or his people and the governor of Illinois, but I have some confidence that all the information will come out. It always does, it seems to me.”

Once they see 4 or 8 years of overgrown children in charge, maybe the voting public will start to grow up and demand more than 3 second soundbite and feel-good words.

I'm sorry, I wasn't listening, I was watching "Celebrity Dancng with the American Idols who Want To Be Millionaires with a better View of Regis and Kelly on the next Oprah".

Who has time for elections?

Not surprising coming from a person involved in his own past corruption scandal. Also more evidence that he full on board with the Obama train.

Capt. "Strawberries" McPaIn, Is now showing his "True" color....a very deep Brownish Green

The SOB has been flying his true colors for some time but far too many Freepers closed their eyes, covered their ears, and yelled "nyah nyah nyah!" out of fear of Obama.

“The absolute NERVE of John McCain! This guy needs to get off the stage.”

McCain, like Jimmy Carter, will NEVER get off the stage. Since we had the misfortune to have this jerk as our candidate, the vile MSM is bound to report his anti-Republican blatherings to the end of his days.

I have this sorry POS as my senator. I sent a note to him today stating that I was disgusted with his statements re: Gov. Palin and his lack of support for her should she run for president. I told him that I am sick of him not representing me or AZ, and to quit representing the rats and Mexico. As usual, he will just blow off my current “love letter” as being one from a whacko. That is how I get treated by his snooty staff when I call him.

Every time this RINO does / says something like this I hate myself a little more because I voted for him. He’s turning into a snide little man of no true conviction - a demo-lite, growing more liberal by the day. Never again will I vote for someone like John McCain.

This despicable pile of protoplasm is the worst bit of primoridal ooze

That made me fall off the chair laughing. I’m going to try and say it three or four times in a row. Ha,ha. We are all very disappointed in McCain. Wow.

Didn’t Obama have a meeting with McCain a little while ago in order to get McCain to act as a “bridge” to Republicans in the Senate, to help Obama get his programs through?

Wonder what Obama promised him?

McCain also recently signed on to a Senate report which holds “high-level” Bush Administration officials (like Rumsfeld) responsible for setting the policy for interrogations that led to “torture.”

McCain = “Judas dog.”
