Fave scene is at the end, when Clarence and George go into the bar and are mistaken for being "pixies" by the bartender at Martini's.
As nice as this movie is, I am always reminded of the SNL skit where the whole town kicks the (blank) out of Old Man Potter.

The new Heat Miser vs Cold miser is on as well!
Was worried it was a liberal “redo” when Heat Miser complained that Cold Miser was giving Global Warming a bad name. Cold Miser then responded, well you like to scare people by saying were heading into a new ice age! (Visions of that 1970 newsweek cover all over again! LOL)

Timely, too, given the current banking crisis. That was one S&L that the regulators should have shut down.

LOL, "I think I'll go home and see what the wife is doing."
Wonder how that one got past the censors.

I put my DVD on instead of getting stuck with all the dumb commercials. My fav. movie also.

I’ve still got it on VHS. Watch it every Christmas Eve along with White Christmas. Ritual at my house!

At least George Bailey didn’t ask Obama for a bailout and sue the bank for losing his money.

Get out your hankies. Also, a little vinegar is best for removing syrup stains.

Pay attention, and you’ll notice that it starts snowing again at the instant George utters the word “God” when asking to live again on the bridge. It’s little touches like that that make this movie a must-see for me every CHRISTmas.

I remember when Jimmy Stewart died.
It is weird but I felt like someone in my family had died.
Not too long before he died some radio channel had a contest to guess who was their guest.
They gave some clues and finally someone guessed Jimmy Steward.
They got to chat with him awhile on the radio.
The winner asked if his little daughter could talk to him and he said yes.
She wanted to know how Zuzu was doing?
