This is great....there were rumors flying around here about three months ago that you’d assumed room temperature!

Your photographs are fabulous! Especially that first one, it looks like a magnificent painting. That is a complement from me because I am an artist. Have you published a book?

reach for the cold mirror on the nightstand and stick it under my nose.\
Oooo...that's exactly what my late Dad's home hospice nurse told us to do if we were "unsure".

Thanks, Friends. I couldn't live in front of a TV so my cameras have been a blessing. I hunted and fished all my life, got to keep going. I watched TV in the hospital, hundreds of channels, all but a few are pure junk. If anyone caught me watching that stuff I'd be mortified

We had a chihuahua that hated birds. Several times he came within a feather’s breadth of catching one of the blues as their takeoffs are slow. He ran out of marsh and had to stop. :)
I always wondered what he’d do if he caught one! A great blue would have beaten him to a pulp with it’s wings or skewered him. Talk about little brains! LOL
Wimpy—that’s a good one, and you’re exactly right! Around here they love to haunt koi ponds. Evidently they like gourmet meals.

Glad you are out of the hospital, that is the pits I hoped that you had a book so I could buy it for Mr. Ditter for Christmas. The only thing I have gotten for him so far is that National Geographic Photo book that is every where. We are huge bird watchers. Our back yard backs up to a wooded ravine (2 big black oil seed feeders) and we have a ranch down near the coast. Lots of different varieties to watch. We will leave the bird photography to folks like you.
