My first Congressman was Rostinkowski who went to prison, then Rod Blagojevich was my Illinois 5th Congressman and he is on his way to prison, then Rahm Emmanuel was my Illinois 5th congressman, God only knows where he'll end up!

I was born in Chicago and was on the ChgoPoliceDept from 68 to 72. Left and put some miles between me and that city. It’s shame on the City, but then people that live there don’t think so. Go figure.

Rush was talking about how ballet-boy was whining and sniveling about how the scandal has affected him and he’s gotten “death threats” etc. This is the same guy who sends dead fish to others he wants to intimidate. The RATS are always the same - they’re real tough guys until the flame gets turned up on them. Then they go crying like little school girls.

I know he did brief pressers over the past few days naming a cabinet member and claiming he had no knowledge the City of Chicago even existed, but we lived so many weeks now with the MSM preaching minute by minute, "What is the President Elect going to do" about every issue - bailouts, economy, world affairs, you name it. Now it seems we have quickly gone back to having one President.

My question is: didn’t the governor know about the FBI probe? And if he did, wouldn’t the Obama camp have known about it too? What was the governor thinking when he laid out his plans for selling Obama’s seat on a line that he had to at least suspect was tapped? As for Emmanuel, there’s nothing unusual about a chief of staff of an outgoing Senator to speak with the governor about someone to replace the Senator. So, why is Emmanuel refusing to speak when he has such a reasonable and believable alibi? Have the Democrats become so arrogant with power that they think that taped conversations can’t hurt them? Unbelievable.

If Rahm talked to Blago about who should replace Barry, big deal. Not illegal -- unless quid pro quo was involved. So Rahm should have said,

"Sure I talked to the Gov, so what".

And that would be that, end of story. But by denying everything, especially with news reports showing otherwise, he looks dirty, like he was in on the Pay To Play scam of Blago's. And according (cough) 'everyone' Rahm is supposed to be smart. The lie about talking to Blago is obvious and shows otherwise, that he's dumb as a post -- or a crook.

The funny thing is, that if he's really innocent, but lied to Fitz about talking to Blago, we know where that leads, ask Scooter Libby. Fitz will have him on at least two counts; Obstruction of Justice and Lying to a Federal Investigator.

The cover-up is always worse than the crime.

I'm now going to bathe in Battery Acid for defending Rahm. Especially since I hate his slimy guts!
