Google has introduced yet another great feature, Google SMS! With its incredible in simplicity it's meant for contacting people who are not online when your Google Chat is enabled. The service allows the receipt of messages by your Google contacts on their cell phones, as SMS. In other words, if you wish to contact someone who is not online at the moment and time is of the essence

For nearly 80 years I have survived without being instantly available to everybody and for what additional time I have left on this earth, my cell phone remains off, available to me in an emergency, much to the dismay of my children who insist upon being at the beck and call of everybody.
