Wonderful! Is that a great blue heron? We have several of those guys who live in our neck of the woods, which is always a surprise since we are in middle TN! I am always surprised to drive by a little creek on our road and see one standing there, hunting for a yummy something.
I’ll bet they aren’t too happy today though.... we just got snow!

Great pics, as always.
Cloudy and rainy days are the best for catching sight of any hunting birds, I have noticed. They must realize that they're not casting a shadow. I only ever see our Coopers when it's overcast.
