Virginia State Police troopers have joined the pursuit of a tractor-trailer that started in Germantown, Md.
The chase started on Interstate 270 after an incident with police. The driver of the Western Express truck refused to stop.
Stop sticks have been used to deflate the tires, but the truck has continued into Virginia and is at Tysons Corner.
Montgomery County police and Maryland State Police also are involved in the pursuit.
No injuries have been reported.

How’d this guy get through I-270S traffic onto the beltway without running anyone over?

Yeah, I know exactly where that weigh station is, about two milkes or so north of Clarksburg, exit 18. Pass it every morning going to work.

I love FR I go to a thread about a truck being chased across state lines and find out C.W. McCall is actually Mannheim Steamroller.
Tell me where else can you find out stuff like that in the same manner as I described above.

the truck has continued into Virginia and is at Tysons Corner. Rush Hour? Tyson's Corner? That'll stop him in his tracks tout de suite.

I was coming through Tysons Corner about 4:00 and saw three helicopters hovering overhead. I thought it was President Bush at the Homeland Security office. Turned on the radio and learned of the truck chase. He ended up about one block from the USA Today headquarters.

Re:
C.W. McCall, who was played by Dallas, Texas actor Jim Finlayson In the early 1970s both Jim and I were both represented by Peggy Taylor Talent in Dallas. I was not a close friend of Jim's, but I admired his talent as he more times than I wish to remember beat me out in auditions for commercials and radio spots. His voice was memorable, like fresh churned butter.
Both he and Peggy are now playing in that big Hollywood game in the sky. God Bless them both.

you read? It was the early 1970s--
And Peggy thought I had talent...
But then again I was her Talent Coordinator, sometimes Chauffeur and all hours Bartender.
