when a .40-caliber Glock he was carrying in his waistband slipped down his leg, and as he grabbed at it, he accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself in the thigh.
If you’re going to carry a Glock loose in your pants you might not want to keep a round in the pipe. Or keep your finger off the trigger.

The real issue to me, is when the players feel theyre unsafe, they shouldnt be there, Goodell said. So get out, dont be there. If you feel the need to have a firearm to be someplace, youre in the wrong place. This is not necessarily true. Many CCW permit holders would vehemently disagree. If an NFL player wants to carry, no problem w/me, just do it legally (of course in a state like New York it's harder than most places to get a CCW permit)...but if you take the course, get the permit, be certified on the use of the gun you're using, then maybe you won't shoot yourself in the leg.

The Three Stupids Rule:
Don’t
Go to stupid places
With stupid people
Do stupid things
If you follow the Three Stupids Rule, you’re a lot less likely to get killed, or have to kill someone else.
