Agreed. You really can't fault Goodell for stating the obvious because a lot of these guys just don't get it.

Aside from the safety concerns, it seems to me if I knew my entire life's income would be received in a 3 1/2 year period I would not want to rock the boat.

Players leave the game because of injury, self-induced retirement, or being cut by the team. We told our teenagers: "Nothing good can happen after midnight." A common-sense rule, with few exceptions.

Young single men + lots of money + lots of testosterone - moral upbringing = TROUBLE waiting to happen
