“Police say Perkins then asked to see the cigarette, which contained marijuana, not tobacco.”

AHA! Did he have a warrant? An illegal search!

OK... I’ll admit that lighting up a joint in front of an police officer takes guts... or stupidity... which is it?

Shades of the Beatles:

I read the news today oh, boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well, i just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn’t notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They’d seen his face before
Nobody was really sure if he was from the house of lords

I saw a film today oh, boy
The English army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
But i just had to look
Having read the book
I love to turn you on.

Woke up, got out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, i noticed i was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
Somebody spoke and i went into a dream
Ah

I read the news today oh, boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert hall
I’d love to turn you on

I’m thinking this woman is likely employed at Joker’s Wild.

One of the Cops episode had some woman that was being questioned by a policeman and he asked to see her ID,she then reached in her back pocket and pulled out a joint.

Back in the day, (WAAAAY back!) we used to keep joints in our cigarette packs, stupidly thinking "the cops will NEVER look in here..hee hee".

Every once in a while, we'd forget about a joint being in there (you know, that whole "pot screws up your memory" myth! LOL), shake out a "cigarette", and absent mindedly (that memory myth again) stick a joint in our mouth at an embarrassing moment.

I'm pretty sure that is what happened here.

Wait a minute.

What were we talking about?

Damn, I forgot the point of all of this. LOL

(I'm REALLY glad that I grew out of those days!)
