Mark Davis opened up discussion for Obama's vaulted birth certificate. He said it was all up to the courts, but he doubted it would go anywhere.
Yeah? What else did Daily Kos tell you to say?
This issue will end when he produces a valid BC, he resigns in disgrace before inauguration, or is impeached for fraud.

I'm in the Dallas area, and listen to Mark too, but the man pains my ears most of the time. I generally have him on for background noise while I read FR and wait for Rush to start.
He doesn't seem like a principled conservative to me. Always threading the middle on issues and trying to come down both ways, it seems. He just can't ever seem to make a straight principled statement without qualifying it in some way.
Besides that, he loves to hear himself talk.
Because its BS...........If there were any legitimacy behind it then talk radio would have been on it like flies.....
Let the fringe kooks like Savage and Bell deal with it. Once its over they'll move on to the next tin foil topic never once apologizing for their own stupidity, expecting everyone who listened to them to just forget about it..........Sheesh!
All four of my kids were born via a midwife at home, and they all have original long form bc's.
There are three. Natural Born Citizen. Age 35 or over. 14 years a US resident. Some Code Pinker couldn't drop a kid by a Russian citizen, even here in the US, take the kid to Mother Russia to be raised, and trained, and then have her come back to the US and become President, unless she first lived here for 14 years.
Until this issue surfaced, and I observed the reaction of the Big Talkers to it, I truly did trust their leadership and guidance on the issues.
It now appears to me that they're a lot closer to being what you described - self-centered businessmen, looking to cash in on the entertainment value in politics.
The fact that they fail to see the blindingly obvious threat in this issue speaks loudly about what they truly are.
If what you say is true, why wouldn’t Obama settle it and stop the courts from even bothering with it. He has spent around $800K trying to put it to rest....from what we hear. It would have only cost him $20.00 to settle it once and for all.
You guys in the BC-BS crowd just don't seem to be in possession of the basic dynamics of this issue.
Obama is sweeping half the electorate under the bus, when all we're asking is that he show us one small piece of paper that every one of us has had to supply to qualify for the simplest of things.
When John McCain was challenged to prove his Natural Born Citizen status, he provided his original long form birth certificate to the press, and was done with it. What did Obama provide? A JPEG on his campaign website, that has been now been shown to be a complete forgery.
Obama is continuing to stonewall the release of this simple, yet important document, despite the fact that in so doing, he is adding fuel to the speculation, and deepening the suspicion.
If he, and you, do not understand the magnitude of what is occurring here, then you (and he) either don't believe that the American people have an absolute right to demand that our President prove this most basic of qualifications to us, or, you (and he) have no regard for the plain and simple language of our central Founding Document.

Wether it means anything to him or not, it is not required. It can't be, because of the first amendment, and the No Religious Test provision of Art. VI of the Constitution. The oath does not even have to be administered by the Chief Justice (LBJ was sworn in by a federal district judge) or anyone else for that matter. The man could just recite it himself, or just sign a written copy of it. (Of course military officers both recite, usually in a repeat after me fashion, and sign their oathes)
I suppose since this is The One he could stand in an empty room, recite the oath, or say that he had, and no one could require proof that he'd actually sworn it. (Another little Constitutional requirement, found in Art 1, Sec. 1)
But he won't because that would prevent another big Extravaganza/photo op.

If the bogus BC issue should be resolved and thus nullifying the Messiah's presidency then I will be the first to contact you and say you were right and I was wrong. But until that happens, its just another Enquirer news story not worthy of all the angst that is going on here.......

No talker cares about this, nor about the natural born citizen clause, in which case bring on the Fairness Doctrine--hey, it's just the Constitution--get over it.

Your position seems to be one of, "don't confuse me with the facts, my mind's already made up."

Not one single elected Republican is apparently willing to discuss the court cases or horrors of horrors,
call on BO to end this and produce a BC.

I couldn’t agree more. They have been exposed for what they are. Self-serving opportunists who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk.
