ARTICLE SNIPPET: “The rustling of shopping bags, carts filled with gifts, and shoppers scurrying through the aisles describes the scene for many parents trying to catch big holiday sales the day after Thanksgiving.
Girl Scout Troop 1138 wanted to make that day extra convenient for some local parents by hosting a daylong “Snowy Days” holiday-themed party for younger Girl Scouts on “Black Friday.”
While the parents were shopping, their children enjoyed a day of holiday fun that included games, crafts, songs, movies, cookie decorating and more.”
