LISTEN TO OUR CALLS TO THE KENYAN EMBASSY ABOUT BARACK OBAMA!
LISTEN TO OUR CALLS TO THE KENYAN EMBASSY ABOUT BARACK OBAMA!
We recently called the Kenyan Embassy and learned some pretty interesting things about our President elect, Barack Obama
Whoa momma!
Kenya Declares a Public Holiday to Celebrate Obama Victory

This impression was strengthened by their apparent sequential call to a hotel in Kenya. Non sequiter perhaps but bolsters the original sense of things.
My husband became a little suspicious because IF they were calling Kenya, then he didn't think it could be the embassy. He said that would be like us calling the American Embassy here in the U.S. There isn't one. The other weird thing was if you listened to the whole segment you heard at the end they we're supposed to be talking to some employee in a hotel in Kenya. Bottom line is if there's no Kenyan Embassy IN Kenya, and the calls ends with talking with a hotel in Kenya---then something doesn't add up.
True, but the site was dated today. Strange.
I think the call was done the day after.
Look at the date of the first comment:
“on November 6th, 2008 2:27 pm”
Keyes actually says somthing to the effect that “one man cannot be born in three places.”
Could be that the station didn't realize the importance of the interview at first, and someone who had heard it live contacted them later and requested that it be put up on the station's web site. As far as I know, it went up on the web site today.
I didn’t know that.
BTW... I like your barn. ;>)... wish the pic’s were larger though.
Thanks for the ping!
Obama is a fraud ..... ping
They once were.....Can’t remember how to make them larger or I would dp sp again....
Then you’re not doing it right.
Well, I’ve posted about 1,500 articles on FR to include the other FR handle I’ve had. The change in handle was approved by Jimrob. Only about a dozen or so of mine have been frozen out of all the threads that I have posted. I think I know what I’m doing. The search works with “no matches found” when other FReepers do not change the titles. (That’s the reason you mods do not like people changing the headlines to avoid duplicates) You’ll notice that the headline to this matching thread is different from the one that I posted, but he changed the original. He included the word “Mike”. You’ll also notice that someone posted the same source/article shortly after I posted my thread that was not locked-up, the last time I looked.
To further add to my previous post, the search function on FR uses a Boolean logic.
I use a search “for all word” which is the FR default. In a Boolean search, it use AND, OR, NOT as search parameters. ‘For all word’ = AND as the parameter.
Meaning if a title to an article has has four words in it, all article that contain those four word will show up in the search regardless how to many words are in the searched articles. So looking for a 5 word title will also show titles that contain more words than than the original 5 in the search parameter that was found contained in the article. But if a poster omitted a word in the original title as what has happened here, and the AND search was used, the search parameter will not be fulfilled and the search will inform you as “article not found”.

Note to everyone: some people on the original site seem to think the DJs were talking to someone in Kenya; they were not. The Kenyan Ambassador to the USA is at the Kenyan Embassy in Washington, DC>
Ambassador Peter Ogego is at the Kenyan Embassy in Washington D.C.
I just called the Embassy (202)387-6101 and got a recording of office hours. m-f/9-5.
I imagine it’s possible to call the Ambassador and ask him these same questions in a more responsible, mature manner and judge his responses for yourselves. Any takers?
