Series Finale next week on FX
I think Dutch will be killed by that boy or his mother after being lured to their house. I think the hang-up calls are the clue. It will be another “accidental” killing like the boy’s classmate. The dead Dutch will be painted as a “stalker” who got what he had coming.
Same fate he met in Sons of Anarchy.
The poor guy is going to end up typecast as a stalker.
I'm hoping the final scene will be Vic walking away with his new ICE badge and a little grin; Claudette being carted away to the funny farm, and, unfortunately, I'm betting that the kid kills Dutch.
I'm betting that the kid shoots Dutch; that the combo of his death and Vic flashing his ICE credential drives Claudette into the looney bin; and I have a feeling that Shane is going to plea-bargain for Mara's freedom and then cop to all the wrongdoing himself, letting Vic walk. But we'll see.
And I hope the final scene is Vic flashing his ICE credential to Claudette (whom I can't stand: she's too sanctimonious and "perfect," reminds me of how Republicans try to do elections), and Claudette melts down and has to be carted off while Vic has that little grin.
Agree. He does what Claudette won’t do to protect the public.
How many seasons has it run? I just checked my library on-line and they have 5 seasons of DVD's available to check out.
I just don’t know.....I wonder about Robbie also... he’s ready to skip town. He’s been one cool cat the whole series.
Hmm. Maybe this is #6 then. Yeah, I guess that’s right. Watch em all!
If he gets rid of Vic and Shane there’s no witnesses left.
I can see Shane/Maura doing themselves off or some combo such as that, Dutch getting whacked by the kid seems to fit, I think Ronnie will end up taking out Vic after getting shut out of the immunity deal, Asavada’s gotta get his due as well but we’ll see....
In the very first episode, he murdered a fellow cop.
I like the character and the show, but if Vic walks away clean from that at the series finale, I'll be disappointed.
Despite how bad Vic sounded when he was leaving about stringing Ronnie along, I can’t see him selling Ronnie out. He has to be working on something to get them both off free. In the end though, I think it’ll finally catch up to him.
I do think the kid is gunning for Dutch. Calling and hanging up was trying to lure him out there. Since the mom was home when Dutch showed up, the kid couldn’t do anything. He’ll go for him again next week, but I think he’ll fail. I just can’t see them killing Dutch off.
Mara is going to get killed in a shootout, then Shane blows his own brains out.
Vic goes down in a ball of flame, and lands in prison for the rest of his life. In his final act, he tips of Ronnie and Ronnie escapes into Mexico.
And, in the most absolutely amazing storyline in the history of television, Julian remains an ex-homo after having successfully received counseling from his minister to turn away from that destructive lifestyle. How the hell did that slip by the Hollywood cultural watchdogs?!?!
That would be too bloody. One person, maybe two max, but not all of them going out. I really get the sense that Shane is going to see the light about Mara and turn himself in.
Vic killed a cop sent to spy and snitch on him and the Strike Team. It fits with his Bizarro moral code. The leader that sent the snitch (Aceveda) had his own agenda: use his position to run for mayor. Along the way, Aceveda arranged for the killing of the dude that turned him into a human Hoover. Vic never hurt anyone that wasn’t in the game
ASTOUNDING SHOW!!
Vic confessing to Olivia, Corrine watching her world crumble, Claudette coming in just in time to watch Vic get immunity, losing it, then firing Dutch, Shane and Tina at the dumpster, Ronnie being betrayed by Vic...what incredible TV, the best show around.
I’m not watching 24 this year. The conservative producer was fired, they hired a lesbian activists to play the president, the Redemption movie seems to be Jack Bauer all weepy because he hurt bad guys...yecch.
Ed
He killed Terry Crowley, his fellow cop. That was evil.
Ed
Yeah. I figured that storyline would have required the show's producers to wear sackcloth and ashes in public, and to flog themselves in order to obtain forgiveness.
