Democrats' Deficit in two years so far $1.5 trillion!
avacado | November 18, 2008 | avacado

The Democrats control Congress and in particular the Houses of Representatives which controls all money spent. So far in 2008 the Democrats' deficit is $455 billion. That's more than Bush ever had in 1 year. And the year 2009 is projected to have a $1 trillion dollar deficit caused by the Democrats. In just two years the Democrats will have racked up a $1.5 trillion dollar deficit, more than the total years of Bush and the Republicans in control of Congress.

So the question is, why is the media and the Democratic party no longer yelling about the deficit? It is our job to make sure that EVERYONE knows that the Democratic controlled Congress is spending money that dwarfs the spending of the Republicans.

"FR is back! I was having withdrawl symptoms."

It sure is back! And my first impulse was to put a red hot pocker up the Dems' butt with this post.

Good Lord, Bush has already vetoed a lot. Take that ridiculous SCHIP program where the Dems wanted to give free health care to households making up to $83K/yr.

This is a serious question. How far do the drunken congressmen need to go before we are officially bankrupt? Are we already there?

Well, the federal government right now brings in about $2.5 trillion per year and owes some $11 trillion in cash, not to mention S.S., medicare, medicaid, etc.
