[1rudeboy's note: this spam attack yesterday threw a wrench into API's plans to announce the reason for the latest delay in airing the Michelle Obama tape before November 14th, as promised]
We were to make a major announcement on the Michelle Obama tapes yesterday night but we were unable to do so because API site was spammed by enemies with the help of Mountain Sage blog.
Mountain Sage has been politically active since she was 17 years old. Issues she was deeply involved with were the 18 year old vote, women’s rights, birth control and abortion rights, and anti-Vietnam war protests. Mountain Sage in the past has been an ardent Democrat who worked at the local Democratic Headquarters and the polls.
Mountain Sage currently resides in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and has become an Independent.
An unfortunate part of Virginia history that you may not be familiar with is the rule of Walter Plecker as the head of the State Registrar of Vital Statistics and his systematic purging from voter rolls of Native Americans.
We are now taking up the matter with WordPress and the FBI because it is a criminal act to spam websites.
We are happy to announce that we have the names and IP addresses of the people who committed act and we are going to file a complaint with the FBI because what these is an offence and they committed the offence on the US soil.
Here below is one of the examples among 56, that we have gathered with the help of our private investigators. The comment below is one of hundreds in Mountain Sage blog where API was being discussed and a plan laid out on how to force the site to close down.
We now have enough evidence, names of the people among them Kenyans in the US, IP addresses doing the harm to our website forcing us to postpone the release of the tape all the time.
We will not let them win. They must face the law. Here below are the comments posted in Mountain Sage’s blog by a few of the culprits who she is colluding with. We are happy to have managed to detect this and get all the details now being prepared in order to file a case against them. There are other incriminating documents we have got where the people were planning how to bring down API by misleading WordPress.

Meanwhile and for public knowledge, note that the airing of the Michelle Obama tapes will take place any time with no prior announcement. This is a precautionary measure taken to avoid a repeat of any kind of influence that any persons may wish to exert on the contracted parties, (API and the MBO’s).

Hey, everyone, can’t we please stop posting and linking to API? It’s just giving undeserved attention and hits to scam artists....
p.s. The latest news is that API has other bombshell tapes that they will only release on the day before the inauguration — then it will be revealed that President-elect Obama called the API editor to thank them personally for not airing the Michelle Obama tapes — and he told the API editor several sensational details about his plans for the coming 4 years. API will air that tape on January 19 after working out all legal issues and after confirming with all US tv networks that they are prepared to air this incredibly important story. /s
First, websites don't get "spammed"; spam is email. Maybe they mean "DDoS" (distributed denial of service), but I suspect they're just blowing smoke and don't know their DDoS from a hole in the ground.
Second as mentioned in previous posts, if the site is back up, post the damn tape now.

I understand where you’re coming from really . . . but some of the comments (since removed) from yesterday had me laughing so hard I was crying. We should embrace API and welcome it’s arrival to the pantheon of internet tragi-farce.
Can we please put API on the list of banned sites? This is getting absurd, and making FR look ridiculous. If they really had something and really intended to release it, uploading to youtube would take just one minute.
The "spam" was actually one (or more) trolls making fun of Chief Prevaricator Korir and the website by posting comments on threads regarding the fake tape.
Good grief, this site is such a fraud. I fully expect that coming soon, they will begin to solicit donations to help “fight” Mountain Sage - expect it to happen shortly.
API along with everything else African is scam based or infected with a contagious disease. It should be added to the list of banned sites.
Yeah, I saw the post on the subject site... Well, any blogsite that doesn't have a throttle on user input rate is beyond silly. Being brought offline for hours by a troll is a lame excuse, and most likely a fabrication, but if true, it exposes the site as run by total idiots. If that weren't already established, given the content....

As long as you’ve got the proper tags to show humor/conspiracy/fraud, I’m against banning API stories. They really do have humor value.
If it’s an API story passed off as real news, the thread should get pulled or re-tagged.
