Who's the biggest ass kicker on the team? The time is ripe to set a trend of ass kicking... like no tomorrow. Republicans need respect, not reach out across the aisle respect. Ass kicking respect! Bush and McCain didn't do it and it needs to be done.
McCain & Republicans have to, as old dogs, learn some new tricks. Reach higher Fido!
John Bolton is the only real ass kicker Republican that I know of these days.
It’s got to come from the soul!
Thad Mccotter
Palin kicks ass
When in God’s name is the next Lee Atwater going to show up?
Anyway, my checkbook remains closed until he does.
We need the Republicans to act like responsible ADULTS, and to look down on the Dems as the children they are. Adults are the ones who get in front of those mics and say "You can't have that, it's too expensive and we'll wreck the budget." They don't get up there and toss insults like children, they explain why they are right and then point out--naming names--the Democrats who are taking this country down.
No backbone. Period.
Me, too. But they just got their asses kicked. Let’s see if they cry like babies and try to get people to LIKE them, or they man-up.
“Why Can’t Republicans be Ass Kickers!”
Because they are too busy being ass kissers.
If McCain had the balls to lead the Republicans AGAINST this bailout, things may have turned out differently. Instead the Republicans held out for MORE pork! Unbelievable. If in a discussion of the bailout someone told me the Republicans did the right thing, I'd have laughed in his face.
Absolutely Nate! She will remind us of what is needed and what was forgotten. She inspires like gang busters. The soft middle will come on board and will be reminded of higher things.
"Ass-kicking conservatism" works for me.
What does that mean? I don’t mean slogans and chest-beating—what does “ass-kicking conservative” MEAN? And how is that going to get us anywhere?
If Democrats are like children then we need to spank their inner child ;-)
Republican political consultants and operatives can be tough as nails and as good or better than the Democrats, but Republican office holders and candidates are often intimidated or seduced by the news media and the nature of political office. Unless one is willing to be hated for the sake of your political principles — like Helms, Gingrich, Coburn, and Reagan — the news media and your colleagues tend to wear you down. After a few years in office, someone elected as a firebrand has barely a spark of principle left.
They weren’t always like that!
