“it is sacrilege for a woman to cook and call Mac and Cheese a dinner.”
I have the best recipe — fontina, fontinella, and Parmesan cheeses; home-made bechamel; unsalted butter; and I think there’s some heavy cream in there, too. OK... so it’s really Heart Attack on a Plate. It’s delicious!

Well, macaroni does suck.
Yeah that box stuff does suck. But homemade macaroni and cheese like I make, the man would be demanding seconds! I make mine with a flour based sauce, cooked nice and long to get the paste-like flour taste out of it. Lots of REAL American and sharp cheddar cheese, and a boatload of onion, garlic and black/red pepper. Pour it over penne pasta and bake it till it's crispy on top. Yeah boy!!!

I had macaroni today.
It made me mad, so I attacked myself.
I'm thinking about filing charges and getting a restraining order.

I need to know how many times in a row she fixed macaroni before I judge him too harshly.

Not if you know what you’re doing. Real mac and cheese to the boxed stuff is as real coffee is to instant.

Stouffers makes a frozen mac and cheese that is almost (and I do mean almost) as good as my homemade. The red box from the freezer...awesome.

Sheesh! The sweetest thing my husband did when we first married was make mac and cheese and tater tots. SOmetimes I make it still. (although, tonight, we’re adding hot dogs)
