Treeing Walker Coonhounds are bigger dogs. They are sporting animals with great physique. Very handsome.

Many, many years ago I had a young Walker hound. I lived in Louisiana at the time, far back in the woods, and in Louisiana it’s legal to deerhunt with dogs. My Walker disappeared the opening day of deer season that year and I never found hide nor hair of him. I still miss that dog. He was a beauty.
