I have a treeing walker coonhound. Beautiful dog. Fun, smart, but sort of high maintenance.
Love him to death!

Treeing Walker Coonhounds are bigger dogs. They are sporting animals with great physique. Very handsome.

You like to be cruel to animals, don’t you?
To: Turret Gunner A20
PS; There is a certain resemblence, isn’t there??
To: RDTF
I know. I caught myself before I polluted a good story by alluding to that troubling resemblance. Who knows though, wives of Messiahs might just be omnipresent as well. Get used to it.

Many, many years ago I had a young Walker hound. I lived in Louisiana at the time, far back in the woods, and in Louisiana it’s legal to deerhunt with dogs. My Walker disappeared the opening day of deer season that year and I never found hide nor hair of him. I still miss that dog. He was a beauty.

Yes, they are great dogs. I am so happy for this little boy and his dog. What wonderful news.

OK, but since you’re from Texas, I just want your assurance that you understand this is the “Doggie” ping list and not the “Dogie” ping list....;-)

Great story , thank you for the ping. We have a Working Dog missing here near Atlanta. A German Shepherd , hope and pray he is found save and sound just like the Coon Hound!
