Yeah yeah, I know. Who cares about the Bell Helicopters Fort Worth Bowl or the GMAC Bowl...right? But you know what? There's a lot of teams that are happy just to be in a bowl game and they don't care where it is.
College Football PING?
Boise State at the Humanitarian Bowl? Lamer. Sure it’s at home but come on...
Boise State deserves better than the Boise Bowl.
Go State! ... and by “State” I mean Michigan State.
I never was a college sports guy, and I find myself becomming less and less interested in sports.
That said, it always makes me feel good to hear one of my fav teams doing well. I’ll watch my teams esp if in the final 4 - but I don’t pay much attention otherwise.
The use of steroids turns off a lot of fans.
If Everything holds as it does now (but probably won't), the BCS games would be any combination of the following: Alabama, Texas Tech, Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma fighting it out for the national title with USC playing the one with the most losses as the 5th vs. 6th ranked team in the Sugar Bowl. Penn State would probably end up playing Oregon or Penn State in the Rose Bowl as the co-Champions of their respective conferences.
IMHO Utah would probably play against Boise State if both win out.
Sports are a lot more fun when we’re not concerned that the entire country might be falling apart.
College football has been a much-needed diversion for me this election cycle. Plus it doesn’t hurt I’m in Lubbock where Texas Tech is going to freakin’ win the national championship this year — WAAAAAA-HOOOOOO!!!!!!!! GUNS UP!!
Rose Bowl presented by Citi...Jan. 1 / 5:10 p.m. ET Pasadena, Calif. ABC...Projection: USC vs. Penn State
Allstate Sugar Bowl...Jan. 2 / 8:30 p.m. ET New Orleans, La. FOX...Projection: Alabama vs. Ohio State
Tostitos Fiesta Bowl...Jan. 5 / 8 p.m. Phoenix, Ariz. FOX...Projection: Texas vs. Utah
FedEx Orange Bowl...Jan. 1 / 8 p.m. Miami Gardens, Fla. FOX...Projection: Pitt vs. Florida State
FedEx BCS National Championship...Jan. 8 / 8 p.m. Miami Gardens, Fla. FOX...Projection: Oklahoma vs. Florida
not the fiesta bowl again (texas fan)
Auburn - Sugar Bowl
So, how do they get Oklahoma ahead of Texas after losing to them, but Texas still in a BCS bowl?
They probably figure that Oklahoma beats Texas Tech and OKlahoma wins some sort of tirbreaker and then they beat Missouri in the Big 12 championship game.
It would certainly make sure Bronco Stadium isn’t half full (give or take) for the H-Bowl this year.
Regardless, I think BSU goes somewhere else this year besides the H-Bowl.
Roll Tide!
GATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right on! Wreck ‘em, Tech!
Drove from Ft. Worth for the last two games. Can I ask why on earth we aren’t in the above BCS bowl predictions? WTH?
