It scares the hell out of me to say this but Hillary was a much safer bet as POTUS than zero. That being said, she is as dead as canned tuna. The junior Senator from New York might as well bone up on her parliamentarian skills for when the dim leadership is out of town on a holiday saturday night and she is called on to referee a minor point between three junior dims and one junior pub. That's about all the respect the dim party gives her. And that's about how much the new administration is ever going to give her. RIP

Meghan McCain voted for him. She’s 0 for 2.

I said the same thing only differently. Obama must move to neutralize the Clintons lest he leave a viable opponent on the field of battle. Hillary would be there, voting against him, becoming the "voice of reason" in the minority of the majority, with a constant undercurrent of "I told you that wasn't going to work." Barry isn't going to want to share power. Even pre-election deals will be off the table. If Harry's job was promised, that promise will be withdrawn.
And Barry isn't going to want Bill taking over the UN, trumping BHO globally.

What about the pallor of Obambi’s off-black skin and his night-of-the-living-dead purple lips?
To: libbylu
Yes, Hill would have done like Bill and moved more center. Exactly, Hillary is far more interested in personal power than ANY agenda.

I don't think I've ever disliked a Dem presidential candidate more than him. I think Obama is scarier, but I hate Kerry more.

I do not care what the conventional wisdom says.
I'd rather see Obama in there than Hillary. Not that I am intending that as some sort of support of this POS Hussein. Au contraire.
Obama is a nightmare, but the Clintons truly represent the dark side of the force. That is simply a known commodity.
I am still glad that the PIPS lost, and that thrill is not yet gone from these parts.

I never got the clean, articulate, charismatic, sonorous thing. That Obama is hard to look at, IMO. His demeanor, voice, habits, his face and body.. are like fingernails on a blackboard for all the senses. I have to turn away, I have to mute, or I get sick. It's not race thing with me at all, I think, Evander Holyfield was a good fighter and a nice guy.

I never thought Id say I wish Kerry had won. During the 2004 campaign, I heard GOP voters complain about George W. Bush time and time again. I heard, "I'll hold my nose, but this is the last time!" I heard, "The only reason I'll vote for Bush is that idiot Kerry!" and "If Bush doesn't do a 180, I'm never voting Republican again!" (along with, "I keep getting called over and over...if I tell you I'm voting for Kerry, will you stop calling?" of course).
After W won, I was flamed viciously for sounding the warning, but the damage he has done to conservatism and the GOP is astonishing. Look at the exodus from the GOP since his re-election...

“Yes, Hill would have done like Bill and moved more center. I cant think of too many people who would be worse than Bambi.”
The Clintons are also too busy doing favors for their “supporters” and lining their own pockets to ever really get down to the business of implementing socialism.
