And, like I said there have been times when I've been both ashamed and proud to be an American. I was proud for the time when Bush was in office, now I'm back to being ashamed one again.

And, BTW you've heard all this nonsense about celebrations and such. This is not something to celebrate. Having someone with a desire to implement policies which have been tried and failed in other countries is NOT something to celebrate. Yes, a lot of us are crying but for a very different reason. And, that is what has now become of this once great country. It's certainly not something to smile or be happy about.

Regards..........

You ought to be ashamed alright ...but not of America.

I understand being ashamed of decisons made by those that might lead our country, but I will never ever be ashamed of being an American.

Throughout our history, America has sacrificed more and and provided more than any other country in the world. Sure there have been mistakes, but all outweighed by the good we have done and the precious lives we have lost to insure that we and others have a freedom and liberty that many do not enjoy.

Still it doesn't quite take away from the fact that America is now run by an illegal and illegitimate goverment.

You sound like a liberal when you post nonsense like this.

Was there voter fraud? Yes!

Did ACORN pull some shenanigans? Yes!

Were some votes illegal? Yes!

Did Obama win through illegitimate or illegal actions? No. (at least none that can be proven)

The Democrats did not "create" over 8 million votes (Obama's nationwide margin).

Let the liberals be the whiners after an election. We are conservatives. We pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and marshall our resources for the next battle.

We have much to fear from a President Obama, but fear is no match for the power of a unified conservative movement.

You really need to get over this. Bush was the most unpopular President in recent history, most of his policies were hugely unpopular and I look forward to alot of them being dismantled (hopefully alot of his "Executive Orders" will be struck down and restore alot of the rights of the people that have been getting trampled on since 9/11)

At the risk of being labeled a "truther" I'm going to go out there and hope for a meaningful investigation of what actually occured on 9/11 as well, there are just too many questions that didn't get answered. I dont think it will happen but there is a rather large segment of the population that wants it.

Bush really ran the country into the ground on his watch and its going to take a long time to recover, even if Obama wins another term in office (and he probably won't once people realize what an empty suit he is) it will likely be 10 years or more before the US is back to Y2K levels of production and fiscal stability.

I really hope you're just reciprocating the crap we've heard from the DUmmies and Michelle Obama.

Thnaks everybody for your responses.

I do think America will eventually come out of this OK but just how is a legitimate question.

I still think America is the greatest place in the world. Let me just say I'm not going anywhere. Some people would usually say they're going to another country if their many isn't elected. Not me. I'm staying put.

I do respect the decision of the voters. This doesn't mean I'm going to get over it however.

President Bush has done a heck of a lot more for this country than any other President has done. That's a heck of a lot more than I can say for Bill Clinton.

And for those who seem insistent on putting down our cunrrent President, may I suggest you go and talk to those in Iraq or the families thereof who have been serving this great country and helping us win this war on terror. Again, I will say that if it weren't for this war on terror and all that President Bush has done for this country there would be an awful lot more of these incidents similiar to 9/11.

Instead of of griping and moaning about Presient Bush and his policies we ought to be very happy for what he has done for this country in terms of military policy. Hopefully we'll have someone of his kind as commander in chief someday.
