In the end, this destroying of McCain/Palin, destruction of the republican party and the conservative movement is George W. Bush’s fault and legacy. He caused it. His actions caused it. This election was a mandate of his administration. America told Bush he failed. Except for the war on terror, he failed. In doing so, he destroyed the conservative movement by moving to the middle and trying to play games with these Marxists. Now, Bush has lead America to something that I fear is now going to destroy the Republic. America as founded is done, finished. The socialists will see this as a mandate to run with the ball and socialize this nation utterly and completely. Folks, DO NOT be surprised that a year from now, we look like the old Soviet Union. ALL the 1960s radicals, Fonda, Hayden, Kerry, Ayers, black panthers, all have reached their goal. They have destroyed America. Bush helped them do it. What took 250 years too build is destroyed in eight years of his administration. America as founded, is finished. The republican party is in shambles. They have no leader. No one to run in 2012. As much as I love Sarah Palin, she is tainted with this defeat.

He caused it.

Partly correct. IMHO, when it gets right down to brass tacks, we are to blame because we allowed GWB to be branded a Conservative before he was ever elected. We continued to allow GWB, and many RINO's in Congress, to be branded as Conservative when we all knew they weren't. Far too many Conservatives fell for his line about "compassionate Conservatism" and further allowed the Laimstream media to define RINO's as Conservatives when they were anything but Conservative.

GWB certainly had a large roll in last night's thumpin', but those most closely associated with our current status are us.

Ultimately, it's our fault. The sooner we realize that, the sooner we will be on the road to turning the tide on this mess......

Gotta agree about Bush

When he came out with that Compassionate Conservatism BS I knew we were shoveling against the tide

He left all the Clinyonites in at DOJ and didn’t go after Voter Fraud—Sandy Burger—etc

He wouldn’t even have been elected if it wasn’t for Elian Gonzalez in 2000 and the Swift Boaters in 2004

He ran the war in Iraq with Compassion

He was a Punching Bag for the democrats

Best thing he can do now is bring all the troops home

It isn’t worth any more deaths and wounds

But to be honest with our colleges and MSM stocked with left wing nuts I guess it was only a matter of time

The country was lost when the commies took over the schools

No national has ever turned itself around once the Slippery Slope was hit

I am 72 and b ecause of the left controlling the MSM and schools I thought we would succomb to Marxism via defeat by the USSR

I was right about going Marxist but never thought it would be this way
