DAY 1 of the Reconstruction of our Party starts tommorrow
11/05/2008 | Neverbluffer

Yes, we are dissapointed, yes we will whine a bit. But as some others have posted, we need to seek opportunity from adversity.

There is no better time to begin to form a new and improved republican party. It must start tommorrow and involve all of us who love this country, and what this party used to be, and what this country can be.

Do you remember all of those years that the Democrats were falling apart (not long ago) and was almost a doomed party?

We are where we are today because of the failure of our party leaders. Failing to follow conservative ideals, yet at the same time failing to change and recognize the diversity of the electorate. Republicans have never been any good about getting the message out.

Do you remember how the Dems took control of the house and senate in 2006? Every talking head in that party toated the party line. Pelosi especially always taling about the "culture of corruption" with the Republicans. Well, they said it so often that the American people bought it.

We should have the same talking points and being more on the offensive instead of the defensive when we see Democratic Congessman get caught with 90,000 dollars in their freezer! Or, when we see Florida Congressman like Wexler who was representing his district in Florida for 11 years, while he wasnt even a resident of Florida!

It starts tommorrow! However, we need to organize! We need to be stronger than the George Soros's of the world. We need to tie all conservative blogs, foundations, associations, and non profits together and form a conservative alliance so that we are just as big as ACORN and more powerful.

Then with numbers and influence on our side, we need to meet with the Bobby Jindals and Palins of the world and get good people to run.

First, we need to strengthen our positions in the Senate first, congess second, and then the executive branch.

Who is ready to organize?

Here here! Your positive approach at this time is to be commended. it is THE only way to win anything worthwhile. To be patient and to persevere in the face of adversity.

Won’t need to organize. In a year the totally incompetant parasitic Crats and their moocher voters will be on their knees begging us to help. Screw em. Do not bail them out. I Guarantee they will be on their knees in a year. They will have no one to blame anything on. HAHAHAHAHA!

I’m in. We have a paid-for house, three paid-for cars, a little land and fairly secure jobs. Our climate is fairly mild and you can grow just about anything here. We just need some guns and ammunition, and a good secure network of friends.

The problem is we don’t have any leaders! Like when Newt in 1994 walked out with a bunch of conservative republican withe the Contract with America! Also we had Haley Barbour as the Republican National Chairman. Conservatism wins every time and Moderation loses. When you start acting like Democrats you might as well have the real thing!

Yay! Let’s be positive!

The conservative denial is frickin’ relentless...

What socialists? What hard-left government? What Democrat sweep? Don’t fear those leftists, they won’t hurt you, you’ll see. They’re Americans too, right?! Cheer up! Everything will be just fine because it always has been!

Thanks, but licking a dirty ashtray is more appealing to me just now.

1) Kick out the Bushes and every other big government RINO.
2) Begin an outfit that finds the skeletons in the closets of media talking heads, and releases said information whenever they try to smear a Republican.
3) Snipe at everything 0bama does, even the stuff we might otherwise support.

Thane Banquo is right. Find the phone number for your Senator and your House Rep and call them on a daily basis to bitch. Don’t ever agree with anything they propose. And let’s get organized to take back what’s OURS.

Correct. And I WILL take a minute to point fingers if y'all don't mind.

Actually, I don't have enough fingers but the ones I do have get pointed at least as far back as Hastert and Frist and the whole damn party for not fighting for us and America.

I want them all gone. And I want a new, truly Conservative party that starts with Jindal and Palin.

RINOs have screwed us. Off with their damned heads!

I have in mind for you a Christian, conservative, middle-aged married couple; he’s a veteran with a few guns and some untapped skills, and she’s pretty good around the house. They have a paid-for car that’s starting to show its age. Do you have any openings?
