What this will do is limit the number of simultaneous connections to a single website Firefox will perform.
Since FreeRepublic only has two small images on the browse page anyway, and they would be cached, this won’t do anything positive. I recommend not making this change.
Multiply that by thousands of people on tens of thousands of threads...
