Oh my goodness that breakfast looks good!

My South Africa travelers just finshed customs and are heading to the first Dulles Airport restaurant they can spot for a hearty breakfast.

Jem...that Johannesburg-Dakar flight is showing it is still enroute - 12 hours late now. I got a ping from "flight-aware" telling me to CALL the airlines for information regarding Flight 207. Good thing I am not totally feint of heart.

Glad to see the "perky Katie" is flustered :-)

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!!!

That’s just the way international travel is. I think Raven would back me up on this. When traveling, you need to be prepared for schedule changes, cancellations, and hidden fees. At best an itinerary is a rough plan. The key when these things occur is to be patient, persistent and polite. And stubborn.

I’m glad the travelers are at Dulles.

obamanation said "I haven't been able to get in touch with my aunt".......LIAR! LIAR! PANTS ON FIRE!!!

By the way, I heard on the news last night that Phillip Berg has a new suit at the Supreme Court this morning - Sutor is getting it :-( He is asking for a production of Barry's official birthcertificate. He says that zero had a "certificate of live birth". In 1961, Hawaii had a law whereby a family could reguest one. Berg believes zero has a legal Kenyan birthcertificate and has that live birth one his Mother filed. Berg says he absolutely was not born in the US.

Another point he made...the reason why zero won't produce his college records is because he received "foreign student" aid during his college years. Naturally, he would have had to show that Kenyan birthcertificate.

Then I have a question...when I got my passport, I have to present my official birthcertificate - not a copy.

What do you all think?

Barry has had to have a passport to travel from the U.S. to Pakistan, Indonesia, and 2/3 times to Kenya. (The home of his birth). I don’t think his “grandmother” half sister and half brother would “tell a lie” about being with his mother during his birth.

I hate to disagree with you. But it is very common, in some countries, for people to lie. They may lie to give themselves more status or because they think the lie is what the questioner wants to hear. We have to be careful in our foreign country to ask questions which don’t give a clue to what we want to hear. For instance, we don’t ask “does this road go to the beach?” The local sees our picnic stuff and realizes we want to go to the beach so the answer is “yes.” Instead we’ll ask, “what is the best way to get to Depapre?” Then we’ll get the best directions.

The family in Kenya may think it gives them more status to have been present at birth. I don’t give them credibility without other verifying information.

I know this doesn’t support our position. I’m not of the culture that necessarily gives the questioner the hoped-for answer. ;)

Thanks for the breakfast, lysie...yummy.

Molly, sorry you are ill, hope you get to feeling better real soon.

Last week, someone stole all the McCain/Palin signs in our little country town. I called the police and our little newspaper. My sister was visiting from Florida and we made a new sign for my yard since it is hard to get McCain signs.

I was gone the rest of the week and when I got home over the week-end, I check to see what was said in the our little newspaper. I was sooooo disappointed, they wrote the article as though both parties had lost signs. My neighbor’s Obama sign is still there...has been there since July. I live on Main St. and all the Obama signs are there on Main St. (all 5 of them) and all the McCain signs were gone...didn’t take a genuis to know what had happened but our little paper couldn’t print the truth.

Praying for this nation and it’s future.

Thank you for the information Jem. Guess I’ve been to Westernized. That type of thinking is beyond me...I’ll keep that information. Sometimes I’m just too gullible.
I guess we’ll never know where he was born.

The state of Hawaii issued a statement the other day, 'verifying' that Nobama's birth certificate is legitimate.

And yet, Nobama still has the faked one up on his FightTheSmears website...very strange, but it will probably be a dead-end...his shot at the coal industry yesterday should have been a game-changer but probably wasn't...:-((

THE FIRST HUNDRED DAYS OF AN OBMAM ADMINISTRATION

[Note – obviously, some of this stuff is a stretch, trying to make for good reading, but much of this could, in fact, happen. Think about it before you vote tomorrow!]

// warning—long //

Jan 20 (Day 1) - Obama is sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Scalia. Obama refuses to use the Bible; throws Bible at Justice Scalia, who is knocked out. Obama says "God D*** America, can't we get something that won't offend the rest of the world for the innauguration? A Koran is brought forward. Obama then asks who can administer the oath? Finding no one worthy, he administers it to himself.

Jan 21 (Day 2) - Justice Scalia is admitted to the hospital in critical condition as a result of the wounds he receives the day before.

Jan 22 (Day 3) - Justice Scalia passes away.

Jan 23 (Day 4) - President Obama offers a stirring tribute to the late Justice Scalia. Promises he will be replaced by a caring, thoughtful, legal scholar.

Jan 24 (Day 5) - Bill Clinton is nominated for the Supreme Court.

Jan 25 (Day 6) - Obama delivers his State of the Union and declares that America is in turmoil and only he can fix it--but to do so, that tax cut thing will just have to wait. Indeed, new taxes are proposed for all Americans, including the money in children's piggy banks (the Piggy Bank Tax).

Jan 26 (Day 7) - Obama orders the FCC to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine.
