What I'm Voting Democrat

I've personally given up on issue arguments though. Went to a function tonight full of Obama voters and I've got a new simple closing argument. When someone says they're voting for Obama I say Oh!, you're voting for the Obama brand. I then explain that Obama is just a huge marketing campaign with catchphrases, celebrity endorsements and even an infomercial. If they disagree I just ask them what he's ever done or anything about his history. If they can't answer that they must be voting based on an impression they got from the marketing of Obama. Most of the younger Obama supporters think they are non-conformists and independent thinkers. When you tell them they are just following the crowd they might think twice. I'm voting for McCain the man not Obama the brand.
