I don’t know if I’d say best EVER, but pretty close.
Some may not remember this, but RUSH would get calls from all kinds... Marilyn Manson called Rush’s Show a couple times. Even the “Dead Kennedys” also called.

And other not so well known bands also called Rush... So you NEVER KNOW!!

I don’t know about ever. Heck, I wouldn’t even say they’re the best punk band ever. But they’re pretty damn good. From a musical standpoint, unfortunately, some really good punk bands are leftists. But I’m smart enough to know better than to take advice from musicians.

I’ve always been a punk and always will be. Even in a suit and tie sometimes that look comes across my face and the people I work with realize there’s something different there.

While still in college at UT, I followed the Ramones from Austin to Germany the summer of ‘91 and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life! Joey’s presence in the room was one of the few times I’ve ever been star struck. One of the greatest bands ever!

The opening to my college alternative radio show was “I Wanna Be Sedated” or “Do You Remember Rock N’ Roll Radio.”

I played alot of Dead Kennedys, Dead Milkmen, Pixies, Dead Boys, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, Bad Relgion, Buzzcocks, Circle Jerka, The Clash, The Cramps, Descendents, The Dickies, Flipper, Raincoats, GenX, Germs . . .
