... Sarah Palin is in revolt, its reported, angry that John McCains handlers forced her to wear haute couture; that shes not been able to be herself before the media; and that Republican campaign strategy -- like the decision to give up on Michigan -- is askew.
....
It's all about the political makeover of the Republican Partys new great hope.
For many senior Republicans, Obama appears sure to prevail Nov. 4 ...
Advice is already incoming: She should at all costs avoid running for Congress, writes Ron Bonjean, former communications director for Speaker Dennis Hastert and Senate majority leader Trent Lott.
If Palin ran for the Senate, she quickly becomes part of the establishment, he says, advising her to return to Alaska where she can remain politically active as its chief executive, yet still build on her new-found fame.
He also suggests party chiefs should surround Palin with the brightest people, meaning they cannot be friends or neighbours with questionable qualifications.
In what would mark a strategic shift in the way the party promotes its 2012 candidate, Bonjean says Palin should lead a recruitment drive among people serving in local, city and state offices who could spread the Palin Change message across America.
As for this election, McCains folly at not having picked Mitt Romney as his running mate is now all too apparent as the economy dives. The Republican presidential candidates turn southward in the polls mirrored the mid-September shock to the world financial markets, which propelled the economy and its future to the number one concern of U.S. voters.

Every other rumor is squashed by the same folks... They all know what liars the MSM are... Yet the first time they try this on Mitt, they all jump on board, assume it's fact, and show what morons they are, for taking the bait, hook, line, and sinker...
8 days before the election... How disgraceful.
I’ll say it again. BS! Your comments are nothing but... Did you see him at the convention, BLASTING at Hussein??? He’s never stopped
Nothing but lies and innuendos... Being that FR is VERY religious, I strongly suspect that anti-Mormonism is at the root of much of this
You nailed it . It is BS.
No way I would ever vote for that POS RINO Romney!
Romney is like a canker sore...really hard to get rid of and his presence is a painful reminder of that fact.
How many friends do you have?
No, you misunderstood my post (or I just didnt write it out properly). I wasnt saying that Romney definitely had a reputation for that. I said "can be" when I should have wrote "could be", or better yet "probably". I was putting out a theory that he could be capable of that sort of behavior.
Just an observation....
I’m here WAY too much.....
;-)
I agree..don’t be fooled by so much of the negative gossip which is what the RATS want to have discourage all of us. Keep your eye on the goal..preventing socialism.
This is divide & conquer.
I’m a Palin supporter. Posting the article has nothing to do with supporting Romney over Palin. I pointed out the excuse-making McCain’s “handlers” are doing for blowing this campaign and said let Palin & McCain be who they are.
That said, I don't think he would have been a good VP pick. Can you imagine running two white millionaires against Obama? They'd be behind 20 points.
Who is this asshat?
Romney was hated by over 1/2 of the Republican base.
McCain got the nod because he WASN’T ROMNEY.
He certainly has. In addition to campaigning/fundraising around the country for the ticket, Mitt's been on with Cavuto at least once a week in support of the McCain/Palin team. Latest appearance on Cavuto here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73ycyVXalV8
Recent appearance in Texas where Mitt condemns Obama-style socialism: http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/video?id=6465362
Mitt, Sarah & McCain
“National Review endorsed Romney in late 2007. Recently I ran across an issue from early 2008 analyzing why he lost. Their explanation was that he lacked the human touch—he’d give clinical answers when people were expecting some human warmth.”
How about: Romney was a fake, and people saw through it? E.g, joining the NRA a few weeks before running for office?!
Who cares? He couldn't fill a conference room in a Holiday Inn Express. Stick a fork in Romney.
BTW, I voted for him in the primary but you can stick a fork in me, because that won't happen again.
I don't hate Romney, but I didn't want him to get the nomination, partly because I don't trust him and partly because he was sure to lose the general election. Of course he'd be less dangerous than Obama or Hillary if he ever got to the Oval Office.
Thanks for clarifying
